I have a certain loyalty to this place because they helped sponsor my junior high school yearbook. (Which shows how nice these 3 guys are -- and they really are from Brooklyn!) It's a great place to get groceries. They have reasonable prices and large selections, fresh, of course. Around Thanksgiving time, they have a really awesome turkey auction.

This market has been on this corner forever, and it has always offered the freshest of fruits and veggies from all over the world.
A recent trip to the city afforded us a chance to stop and get some fresh fruit and look over the offerings. The store has changed a bit over the years, both in structure and in ownership, but it still offers a large assortment of various fresh goods brought in daily from the Terminal Market.
Fresh oranges of several kinds, tomatoes, things I didn't recognize, all boxed either inside or out front so you can pick what you want. And the pricing is still a good deal.

3 Guys from Brooklyn supplies a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to the neighborhood at bargain prices. Their prices are competitive and sometimes you can find very cheap fresh produce. The market is large and you are free to sift through the produce to pick the best. There are plenty of plastic bags for you to put your goods item. Checkout at the register can sometimes be long when it is during busy hours. However, the cheap fresh produce is worth the wait.

This is a fresh fruit and vegetable market on Fort Hamilton. They have been around for quite some times. They sell really fresh vegetables and fruits at very cheap prices. It can tend to be kind of hectic there with the crowds, but it is worth the pushing and shoving. I used to go there with my sister to get fruits on my way home. The place can be a bit messy and dirty with some of the fruits rotting on the floor but this is not uncommon in any market.

This supermarket has one of the freshest fruits and vegetables in the Brooklyn area. It's sold at wholesale prices so it is cheaper compared to your neighborhood markets. Plenty of selection especially during the summer time such as watermelons, plums, oranges, apples, cherries, strawberries, and etc. A good find for fruit lovers. The streets may be a little dirty and crowded but definitely good quality.

This fruit and vegetable store is amazing. Besides being open twenty-four hours, the prices per pound were very low and reasonable. But beware because there are very long lines to this store. They had great selections of different fruits and vegetables. I would recommend going at night to avoid massive lines at the cashier. They also sell dairy products and cake. There is also bread and cheese and olives. They also had coffee and nuts.

This is a fruit/vegetable store on Fort Hamilton Parkway. They have great deals sometimes: like yogurt for 25-33 cents a cup (the good brands like La Yogurt), milk, and cheap fruits (like the bananas, blueberries) and veggies (like broccoli, potatoes, etc.). The bad thing is that sometimes the Mexican workers can be annoying and whistle at my sister and I. Also, because of all the great bargains, it can get overcrowded with shoppers, which means long lines and little room to shop. Still, the bargains are good enough sometimes to put up with all the cons.
