Best DOCTOR and pleasant staff. Saw Dr Z after having seen my primary care doc and
2 other dermatologists. Got Dr Zelaya tele# from a friend, who recommended him highly. AWESOME office with a WOW factor. I felt completetly comfortable from the second I walked in.
Very helpful staff, and extremely personable and smart doc!!
He sat down,listened, and did a biopsy that very same day. My results were available that same week and confirmed Dr Z's first impressions. I recommend him highly.

I went Jill for the first time 2 weeks ago and I LOVE my hair! I got there a few minutes early and she was able to start right away. I have curly hair, and she gave me a very versatile haircut that looks so chic when straight and very healthy and bouncy when i let it curl. She just layered it very well, took her time no rush.
I asked for some natural looking highlights (like if the sun had done it i said), and she gave me these wonderful highlights that just made my overall color so much warmer and subtle but it's not obvious, eactly what i wanted.
She was very sweet and the place is very cute, just a couple of blocks from the L train to Bedford.
The Haircut was $85 and the highlights for the full head were $165. Which I think is very decent, especially when you leave so happy. I mean why pay over 100 for a junior at some hot spot when you can get a master for such a good price.
For the last year and a half i've been looking ever since my hairstylist retired. Now My boyfriend keeps cursing the guy i went to twice before this year (more expensive at a soho spot), saying how bad he was now seeing what a great job Jill did.
I will definitely be going back.
Oh Carlos isn't there anymore for those reading the previous reviews, but Jill is the WOMAN you need to go to.

I challenge you to find a better deal for the money than your local YMCA. For a mere $40/month I get a lap pool, huge cardio room and tons of weights.
No, its not glitzy and you won't see models working off that fry they ate yesterday on the treadmill, but you will get the latest equipment and lots of friendly faces. I for one get inspires seeing the 70+ crowd doning their sweats and working out.
Another bonus? Free childcare M-S. That alone is worth the membership fee.

I just moved to New York City from Florida and was lucky enough to move at the same time as my hair dresser, Owen. I live on 155th street and made sure to go all the way to brooklyn to have Owen do my hair. The salon is amazing, and Owen is extremely talented. Just walking 5 feet outside of the salon, I had three people ask about who had done my hair. Cut, color, styling ... I trust him with my life (for those of you who are as scared as me of someone hacking up your hair)
I HIGHLY recommend Owen for whatever hairstyle you're looking for!

My first experience with the Wellness and Beauty Spa was very disapointing--a less than mediocre massage followed by a facial that mostly consisted of blackhead picking. The massage was particularly disapointing, and strangely enough, the facialist's upper body massage was better than the masseuse's. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone else. The desk person did not even look up when I spoke to her. Also, the robe they gave me was falling apart and frayed, and the flip flops were dirty and obviously previously used. This place is a considerable waste of time and money.
