Recently, I worked on a film with Drew Leary. He coached me through an intense fight scene (involving metal lockers and linoleum) with barely a scratch on me (or the other gal!). I felt comfortable working with Drew and through his process gained some skills in film fight choreography (it is very different from stage work). Drew has a strong background in stage fight choreography (& directing) and has translated his techniques for work in film. His work in film goes beyond choreography, as he is also a working stuntman (he's not just putting you in these positions - he has been there himself). I recommend working with Drew - he is a gem.
