This salon has a great commercial on tv with a catchy jingle that boasts a great, top-of-the-line salon. When you get there, everything is just as was advertised in the ad. They treat you like royalty. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because they are extremeley busy, but once you're attended, you're treated like a queen. There isn't one thing I love--I love everything--the pedicures, manicures, massages, facials. The only con is the price. You gotta pay for the great, relaxing experience. It's a good idea to treat yourself here about twice a year.

Unlike most men I know, I like to get regular pedicures. The setting of this place isn’t something to write home about. It’s pretty basic with white walls and fluorescent lighting and that’s the only difference between a place like this and an upscale joint in Soho Manhattan. But im not there for the ambience. The moment you walk in you’re greeted with a warm welcome. They do comparable work and offer good prices. Pedicures are roughly $15.

I treat myself to a manicure and pedicure once a month, and I always go to Cindy's Nail Plaza. I like that they are open on Sundays, which is the only time I can get a chance to go. they perform a wide range of services such as manicures, pedicures and massages too. They do a really good job, and I get a lot of compliments on my nails. They have never looked better. They really pamper you and help you feel relaxed. The place is clean, and all instruments are sterilized, and there usually isn't a long wait to get them done. I'm very satisfied with them

I tried this spa out because it was near my house. It looked expensive, but I gave it a shot anyway. To my surprise it was so cheap and the service I got was worth way more than what I paid for. WAY CHEAP, WAY AMAZING! I got a facial, manicure, pedicure and it was THE BEST day at the spa I had ever had all under 100bucks!

I used to go to manhattan for waxing - but this place is a gem in the neighborhood. I've never had any problems. There was a change in ownership this year (an improvement!) The facials are also very good. I always make my appointments in advance, and they are good about calling if they have a cancellation, etc.

I see my ister often and she always has some beutiful nails with interesting designs. I asked where does she get it done? She named this place, and flooded i with good comments. The lady who did her nails told funny stories and did everything very quickly and nicely according to my sister. She said she recommends this place to anyone who wants a nice manicure and a good time.

I was out of town. I was like let me get a pedicure before I get back to Boston. Boston pedicures are so expensive and suck it's ridiculous. I got one the other day in Nyc I was mad because of the place and the bad job. We are in Brooklyn so it's the ghetto. I entered the place and I slightly did not remember I was in the ghetto. The place looked nice and was very clean. The water was not to hot on my feet. The pedicure stations and chairs were clean. The chairs are massage chairs. They have a big screen tv that is very enjoyable. They share the nail salon with hairstylists but the whole salon is nicely separated. I went there in the morning, they were opening so it's was not busy. The lady was nice. She was older than the others. I don't know if it's because I came in the morning and it was not busy but the lady took her time and did an excellent job. I am very picky with nail salons. I am always dissatisfied. The manicurist was nice and smiled at me couple times. The guy I am not sure if he is the manager, he started to talk to me about something on tv. He was cool. The only think that I disliked is that he sat next to me and started to eat his breakfast while I was getting a pedicure done. It's kind of gross. He was eating some noodles. This is the best pedicure I had in my life and I can't believe it cost me $13 and it was done in the ghetto of Brooklyn. Who knew I was going to find a jewel in the ghetto?? Wow I am really impressed. She cleaned my toes very well. She used a clean machine to get rid of dirt. She applied the nail polish very well. She was not sloppy. I only got a pedicure. I had my nails done at File It Nail Salon for my high school prom. I had french tips and it ran me around $20 including tip. It was nicely done but I felt the customer service felt impersonal. While my nails were being done, I felt like they were rushing to get it done so they could get to other customers. They did have a large selection of colors to choose from. Overall, the job was good but the service wasn't.

As a woman in her early 30's, I am picky about the way my nails are done. I have very sensitive skin and most places I have had my nails done have created tiny cuts around the cuticle area that burn for a few days after a manicure.
After I found Art Elegance, I have never gone to another salon. All of their manicurists are wonderful, and in three years, I have never had a bad manicure there.
The pedicure area offers a spa chair with massage, and is never rushed no matter how busy it is.
They also offer waxing, which I hear is very good although I have never been waxed anywhere, so I can not recommend this myself.

Splendid Nail Salon does manicures, pedicures as well as french tips. Their entire staff is friendly and always greet you when you walk in their door. Their wall of nail colors allows you to choose the one you're are looking for and if you ask for recommendations on a certain color, they would be more than happy to offer you advice. In order to stay sanitary, they wear masks and keep their tools clean. However, if you are worried about catching a disease, feel free to bring your own supplies. They won't judge you for that and understand quite well. Splendid Nail Salon is also reasonably priced due to competition of nail salons along 18th avenue.
