Store has an interesting selection but isn't on par with the city stores. Prices are comparable, but it's more of a point for the local bands that practice down the street. If you are looking for a new release on your way home, then you can go here, but there's not much browsing power in the store. Also the lighting is a little weird during the day, making it hard to browse.

It is quite common now to just order CDs online or just go to the big mega-stores. However, this is a wonderful mom-and-pop store which makes you want to come back. Competative prices and and a wonderful staff makes it a wonderful place to shop. Great selection as well

If you are looking for, say, a used or new Jaguar Fender, they'll want too much for one that will need massive body work. The staff is helpful, although they come with the requisite guitar-salesperson-conceit. Just make sure to check your prices against those of Guitar Center.

Don’t let the slightly dank appearance of Brooklyn Heights Video fool you. They have almost any movie you want, if you can find it. The movies are arranged in some kind of order that I cannot yet understand. If you get past that, though, you will find a video store with a good mix of independent and mainstream movies. I have always been able to find a movie there that my friends and I can all agree on.

We took our daughter to classes at Music together and she loved it and had a great time! She loves anything to do with music or dancing, so this was perfect for her. I think it's much better than similar classes like Gymboree music classes. The teachers were great and you could tell that they really enjoyed what they did. All the kids had a great time and it was a lot of fun for them. I wish my son were younger so he could go, because he would really enjoy it too.

Beat Street is a Fulton Mall classic. It is a huge store down in the basement that is full of every new hip-hop cd LP and 12 inch and they also have a giant collection of classic LPs and 12 inches. It is loud down there because they always have a DJ playing live. If you need any hip hop record ever made, especially on wax, this is the place to go.

This music center is a great place to shop for cds. I loved to go there and I bought a lot of cds there. They always had deals like buy 2 cds get the third free. I loved that store until I bought an Ipod from that store. Now I just go there for Itunes gift cards or for anything. But now I shop for my music on line! Great place to buy you music. They also sell Dvds, VHS tapes, and video games. Great place to shop recommended my me!

St Mark's Comics is no more impressive than other comic stores, but no less impressive either. It carries all the normal stand-bys with no big surprises. The store is well-lit and the comics are relatively easy to sort through. If you are looking for hard-to-find comics, I might try somewhere else.
