Needed a place for four days to stay with my girlfriend. Nothing fancy, but comfortable, close to F train going to Manhattan. Fine shopping and restaurants. Good service and cheap. Managed in a single room and saved $20 a day. My girl was happy, all I care.

I booked a suite for my parents when they visited from out of town. The rooms were kept clean and neat. The concierge was always eager to help with all of my parents needs. The hotels lobby was quite decorative and pleasing to the eye. There were no amenities but there was a mini bar in the room. My parents stay was quite pleasant and had no negative experiences. The rooms were quite expensive compared to a holiday inn. I would book a suite for my parents or any family member in the future.

The Greenpoint Y is a gem. Its clean, well-maintained facilities include a pool and a weight room with assorted machines, and it offers all kinds of classes—yoga, tai chi, pilates, aerobics, and more, plus a whole kids’ program with dance, swimming, and summer camp sessions. The best part is that a monthly membership of $40 allows you to sign up for as many classes as you can fit into your schedule, so that the more you take, the cheaper it works out per class. Even at just one weekly yoga class, though, say, it’s less expensive than pretty much anywhere else, and the atmosphere is relaxed and down-to-earth. Also, if you have visitors coming into town, you can send them to stay here guilt-free—the rooms are basic but perfectly nice, and a real bargain. The Village People weren’t kidding around.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of boro park. It really does live up to its name. The Lobby is exquisite, and the rooms are new and beautifully appointed. They have their own parking lot. (so you dont have to wake up at eight in the morning to move your car, and the service is wonderful. With all this they accept AAA discounts, and are very reasonably priced.

This is one of the few fancy hotels located in Brooklyn. The outside doesn't look all that flattering, but the inside is really gorgeous. I had my high school prom at this hotel and the interior was very beautiful. Everything was decorated very nicely with flowers, balloons, table cloths, etc. They even had a baby grand piano in the hall. I loved all the color schemes on the carpet, drapes and furniture too. The only thing that I remember that was bad was probably the food. It wasn't that great, considering this was a very expensive hotel. My friend rented a room as well, which was very cozy and clean. I would definitely recommend this place for parties or renting a room. They treat you good here.
