The modern chemist is a very good pharmacy. I like them better than the big drug store chains because they take a more personal interest in customers. They recently expanded their store and it is really nice. Parking can be an issue on a school days because there is a large school right across the street from them.

I really like this place because you can have many things done all at one location. They have radiology, sonography, cardiology,mri, etc. The place is clean and really nice. The people who work here are really friendly. The reason I came here basically was that I had two people I needed to bring for different reasons and tests. I was able to bring them both on the same day with back to back appointments, which saved me a lot of time and a seperate trip. The staff is also very nice and made everything less scary, especially for my son. I would highly recommend this place.

I came to Dermer for a stairlift chair for my mother. Not only did they come and install it within a few days, but they also came back 5 months later to repair it when it broke. Very nice people

I have only dealt with this pharmacy on the phone, but they have been beyond helpful in helping me care for patients. They go out of their way to come up with solutions so that patients can get the medications they need. They are friendly and fast to get the medications to the patients. They seem to carry a wide variety of drugs so they usually have what you need on hand. Highly recommended!

Let me say in defense of CI Hospital, my father was brought in by ambulance in very bad shape. After being treated at Lutheran medical Center and Victory Memorial, both of which he discharged himself from (despite being very ill) Coney Island Hospital has proven to be the best hospital you could ask for. We never received so much as a call from the other two "hospitals" asking if my father was home-forget about safe. Granted, he's a grown man, but where is the accountablity of these other medical facilitis?
Since being admitted to CI Hospital, he has received unbelievable care and the staff knows what they are doing. As far as Coney Island being in a "bad" neighborhood, that reviewer should take a look around and see if he/she can afford to live in areas surrounding the hospital. I live in Sea Gate, where you can not even look at a house for less then 600,000 dollars. I would not hesitate to bring my CHILDREN to this fine hospital, because due to the high volume of cases they treat on a daily basis, they do a DAMN fine job!

I have experienced all that was stated by the previous two writers. Pregnant and waited four hours plus. Crampped sitting rooms, even the doctors seem extremely owerworked, since they work and perform surgery @ Brooklyn Hospital and then rush over to the Brooklyn Plaza to deal with the crowd there. as such I think the patients do not receive any particular personal attention.
Now for the past thirty days or so I am trying to get my records transfered to a less hectic, more professuonal doctor's office that I have recently found. Why is the guy in the Medical records not transferring it after I spoke to him on numerous occasions and he confirmed that he redceived my fax, after stating he did not receive the transfer request that was sent by ny present physician.
PROBABLY MY RECORDS ARE LOST
Attention all OB/GYN patients in Brooklyn, stay away from Brooklyn Plaza, I recommend you call 718-940-BABYand experience modernised treatment in a professional and technologically advanced enviroment. Keep up the good work Dr. Osei and Kwake.

This pharmacy is great. It has so many different products. From specials soap for the laundry from China to exquisite body wash from Germany. It has a lot of great products for the house, as well as for your health. Definitely come and take a look around. The workers are very careful, polite, and pleasant. They speak Russian, English, Spanish, and some even Italian. You will visit a great and historic neighborhood as well as a fantastic pharmacy. It is the best of both worlds!!!
