I treated myself to a last minute birthday massage by calling AREA at around 3pm in the middle of a snowstorm. They didn't have any appointments available, but he said he would try to get me a therapist to come in just for me. Robert, the massage therapist, was friendly, kind, intuitive and most importantly the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of having worked on me. And I've had TONS of massages in chi-chi spas around the country--nothing beats the casual, friendly vibe of AREA and the service was top notch. Not only that the accomodation of my last minute appointment is virtually unheard of in the spa industry. A MUST for anyone in need of relaxation--ask for Robert, he is THE BEST!
