If I were a kid in a candy store, this would be the candy store of my choice. There are at least 30-40 different types of chocolate sold in this place. Who knew that many existed? The reason is because they manufacture a lot of their own chocolate creations. Everything tastes good and it's also fun to watch the chocolate being made and ride along the conveyor belts. Kids as well as adults would definitely be amused by it.

Jacques Torres is simply the best. The chocolate is simply to die for. You can see through the store window how the chocolate is made. He also teaches classes on how to make chocolate and sometimes gives away free samples of chocolate in the store. You definitely have to try their hot chocolate. That's a lot of chocolate. I need to lie down now. Sugar rush. Chocolate!

Jacques Torres Chocolate is the purveyor to many restaurants and specialty shops, but you can buy it from the source: delicious, intricately flavored chocolates--pick them out individually for a great gift box--as well as other chocolate products. The chocolate popcorn is delicious, as is the hot cocoa on a winter day. Kids love the place, especially the opportunity to watch the chocolate making process. It makes for a nice stop when you're touring DUMBO. Prices aren't cheap, but value is high.

This place is heaven. Go here! Went here with a couple of friends after walking the bridge and it was a terrific treat. The chocolates are fresh... you can see through the glass where they make them. There are many flavors to choose from. We got 8 different flavors and took a bite of each one while sitting on a bench outside the store. They were delicious! The chocolates go well with a hot cup of coffee.

Food TV's chocolate chef Jacques Torres' original shop located in DUMBO is well worth the trip. They sell chocolates as well as have a mini cafe where they serve hot chocolate. The spicy hot chocolate is fantastic. You can also buy the same in powder form. The chocolates themselves are great. From various nuts dipped in fine rich chocolate to truffles and squares. Delicious from wall to wall!

Jacques Torres has two shops in New York and this is about the one in DUMBO in Brooklyn. The chocolate of course is out of this world, they don't cal him Mr. Chocolate for nothing. The store although not as large and entertaining as his Manhattan shop/factory is nice and homey and carries all of his signature creations. The service is excellent and the chocolate is great. The only way it could get better is if they figured out a way for people to sit and eat what they've purchased.
PROS: great chocolate
CONS: needs seating

You can't go wrong indulging your sweet tooth at this world-famous Dumbo chocolatier. In the wintertime, as you stroll around the Brooklyn waterfront, you are advised to stop here for a hallucinegenically good cup of hot chocolate - guaranteed to transcend any you've had before. Just about anything in the store makes a great gift, if you can manage not to eat whatever you purchase first.

This place has the best chocolate I have ever tasted! I have bought these chocolates for family and friends and they love them. They sell boxes of assorted chocolates you choose. My favorite is one called wicked. They also have the wicked hot chocolate that is the best! The crossiants are great, chocolate dipped fruits nuts, cornflake--they do it all. I tell all my friends about this place becuase it's definitely worth the trip. Its on Water Street behind Grimaldis in Bklyn, so you can you there for L/D and Jacque Torres for dessert!
Pros: Nice decor, Quality product, Good Service.
