Worst

EASTERN: One start is too much...we should have another option to grade with + or -, just like in school. Arecibo and Easter are too big in Park slope and they dont care of anyone...

Great overall, called them to get a sense of their operation then proceeded to book online. Lincoln Town Car arrived promptly at 5:55am called me to let me know they were here and I came down 5 minutes later. Price was reasonable and payment process was smooth at drop-off. more

I had Eastern pick up my family and I at LGA on Saturday and the driver was very nice. After a little mixup in which terminal to meet at, the driver arrived and had the car seat ready and even had a music dvd playing in the back for the kids. I thought it was a pretty good experience until I got a call from my wife today who said the driver was on his way back to our apartment to drop off our little girl's hat that must've fallen off in the car. I thought we had lost it somewhere else along the way. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later the driver was at my building with her little hat in his hands. Prices are very reasonable, cars are clean, and the drivers have been very nice. more

I don't have any bad to say about Eastern Car Service, they were great. I called the dispatcher was very kind and assure car would be out in front in 5 minutes, 5 minutes later they were there. I was of course Happy!!! The driver was nice, he wasn't like most cab drivers that want to get you out the car as soon as possible. more

Whenever someone needs a car I always recommend Eastern Car Service because the prices are great and they always have a car available any time of day. Eastern is the best car service in Park Slope, and I refuse to use any other one. more

Because of snow, we needed a car service to take us to an appointment in Manhattan on the 14th. We phoned one car service to make an appointment, and we were told the fare would be $200.00! I logged on to the Eastern Car Service website and was able to make a reservation at their regular, non price- gouging rate. On Friday morning, our car arrived right on time. The driver was polite and very professional. He was an excellent driver, and he regularly monitored his mapping device to find routes that were not congested. He was fabulous, and our experience was nothing less than wonderful. I love the fact that it is possible to make reservations on the internet. I recommend Eastern Car Service and will use it again. more

It upsets me to see that certain people, who have heavy fingers, like to whine too much, especially when they aren't being pampered the way their parents have all their life. Get a life! I believe you get your money's worth when you use Eastern, I know I have. I like using Carmel once in a while, but overall Eastern has been just fine. Btw, if you get upset over not getting a vehicle within 5 minutes during rush hour I have news for you, you aren't going to get a car from any of the other car services around either. Thats why it's called rush hour. more

We recently used Eastern twice in a very short period of time and found them to be fairly reliable. The reason we used Eastern was because we were traveling and needed a car service with a child seat. \r \r My wife called Eastern prior to our arrival and they immediately sent a text confirmation and continued to send update text messages when we arrived regarding which car will be picking us up. The driver was exactly where they said he would be located. The car was clean and the driver was friendly. \r \r On our departure, we called about 36 hours prior to leaving and asked for the same service. Oddly though, we never got a text message so we called 3 times to confirm and we got a verbal confirmation each time. However, when our pickup was scheduled, we got a car at our hotel, but it didn't come with a carseat. The driver called dispatch and asked for another car with a carseat. With some mixup on addresses, our taxi arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled pickup. \r \r Our flat rate fare from LGA to Brooklyn ran about $40 including car seat and gratuity. I would highly recommend them. more

I used Eastern this weekend to take my sis, who was in town for the weekend, over to catch a show in the city. We were running late so i called them that i needed to get there as soon as possible before the doors were closed. Their driver got there within minutes and we were on the road getting to the place on time. I just wanted to share that eastern has always offered great service and I wouldn't consider using anyone else in park slope. more

Eastern Car Service is to me the best in Brooklyn. The dispatchers are great and never come out nasty when I call them. They always have a car ready to send out to me, not like many car services in Brooklyn that never have enough cars and when you call they leave you on hold forever. Which I hate. I don't call any other car service since the first time i called Eastern. The drivers are all nice and always have the car smelling good. Which to me is very important when in a cab. I recommend everyone to use Eastern services just because still till this day I have not had a bad experience with them. They are the best.\r more

I have used these guys probably 20 times all around NYC and they've never failed me. They're always on time, frequently early, always polite, clean, super-cool. \r \r Here's why I always go to them over any other company, though, if all other things were equal: the laziness technology factor. Being able to request a car online, both in advance and ASAP? Hell yeah. Getting a text message or email when my car arrives? mmhmm. I only wish they had a mobile site and/or a way to request via text message, simply because I've seen that in other cities and that would be SWEET. \r \r One of the drivers offered me a tip - do not call the dispatch line. Just use the website, go to it on your phone or something. He said when you put in a request via the website, it's sent out to all the drivers at once, and they can snag it instantly if they're nearby. It's a LOT faster than calling dispatch. And he's right - every time I've done it, I've gotten a call from a nearby driver in less than 5 minutes, often more like 1-2 minutes.\r \r Also, requesting online doesn't get you a price, but they have a pretty full list of rates on their website as well. more

I have taken eastern car for a while now as well as their other competitors in the area, but eastern seems to be the only one of the bunch to be making new progress. I even registered an account in their website and have been requesting my cars that way now. Way to go guys! Oh, and by the way, the trip was pleasant and in a nice car...but the traffic sucked.\r more

Eastern is reliable, reasonably priced, and timely. They never keep you waiting. They call or text when they arrive (typically 10 minutes before scheduled). You can reserve cars online or over the phone. You won't get a Mercedes, but you will get a clean and safe car driven by a professional. more

I called about 5 car services to get a decent rate from Park Slope to La Guardia about a year and a half ago and Eastern gave me the best price. I haven't used another car service in Brooklyn ever since.\r \r Every time I call, I ask for a rate, get a deliciously good one, and when I ask for one, there's a car outside. I have never had to strongarm a driver to get me where I need to go (I've certainly had my fair share of cabbies and drivers drop me off on a corner that's convenient for them), give me a fair rate and not drive like an a**hole. \r \r Cars are clean and presentable, drivers are friendly and the rates are very, very reasonable. I have used them many times and even recommend them to all my friends and family. I have yet to get into a car that reeks of B.O. God bless Eastern!""\r more
