Well this is my first time rating any place... but i felt so strongly that i had to so here goes. First off i'm very skeptical all beauty products and services. So before i started the hair removal process i did a little investigating on the web about it. I found out that it works best on light skin dark hair the best and goes down from there (ie: light hair not as good). I fourtunatly (or not) HAD and I do mean HAD, medium skin tone w/ very dark hair. I also found out that the laser they use is highly rated(google hair removal). After about a year of treatments i can say that the hair on my legs, bikini and under arms is gone. There are some spots that have some regrowth of very fine hairs and Oksana (who is the best and nicest estatitician (spell check) in bklyn) keeps going over them. Allison, who is the owner is very nice and accomidating. She will work out a price with you and she never trys to sell you anything, it is compleatly up to you what yo want to get done. How refreshing is that?? So, the low down is... it hurts a bit but the appts. are quick and spread out (6 weeks), the hair is gone after about 6 sessions (10 total) give or take. All in all it is great!

While, Tres Belle may have earned a loyal customer following for their laser hair removal...The Microdermabrasion services at $175/each for the "discounted" version are a complete waste of money. I bought a package of micros based solely on rave citysearch reviews and Allison's kind demeanor. I bought a pack of six....for a whopping $1,090! Ok, so I am liable for my purchases. AND, I left feeling a little odd. So, I did the tiniest bit of research and discovered that Tres Belle's prices are double what you pay in Manhattan at the finest spas and triple what you pay in Brooklyn. Not, wanting to believe I was so easily duped I sent Allison a sample of the advertisement and asked her what she could do. Her solution was to offer me a complimenary Micro...bringing my grand total to about $150 a micro. Which is basically still more expensive than what you would pay at a high-end spa in the city. So, what do you get for your above market fees... facilities are definately not luxurious or spa. Basic would probably best describe it. A website that is non-informative and almost "ghetto"...A no refund policy...So, R.I.P (rest is purchase). I still have three remaining sessions to use... I have offered them to others who will not take them based on my experience. Wish me luck. I hope that they won't micro my face off after this review. In this day and age we want to get what we pay for. I am sorry to say I didn't. Don't my mistake...and do a little bit of research before handing over your card to such "nice" people.
