I have eaten at Khao Sarn several times over the past two years that I have been a college student in Boston and have enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much! The prices are decent especially considering how delicious the food is. My only complaint would be that some servers aren't the most friendly/welcoming, which perhaps is because of my age, but nonetheless I have returned and will continue to go to Khao Sarn for a Thai dinner.

I highly disagree with Annabella's negativity, but judging by her cynicism I feel like she is tough to appease. Two thumbs up, don't change anything.

Yummy food in a nice atmosphere at surprisingly reasonable prices. They have all the basics of a Thai menu that you'd come to expect and then a few little surprises and specials. After reading other reviews I anxiously await returning to try the mango sticky rice (which I enjoyed so much when I went to Thailand) My only complaint is about the service. Usually Thai restaurants have a quite high standard of service, and here it seems like they felt that you were a bit of a bother -- they just seemed annoyed at your existence. I also ordered a non -spicy dish as a bit spicy, which I was told would not be a problem, but it arrived not in the least bit spicy. They were kind of mean, so I didn't want to complain. Very convenient to the T, parking is a little annoying but not the worst. I appreciated the umbrella bucket near the door on a rainy night.

Khao Sarn is one of the best Thai restaurants in the immediate Boston area- and it is one of the few that can bill itself as "authentic Thai cuisine". The dishes here are just wonderful. If you don't like spicy food, be aware that many dishes are not for the faint of heart. I tried one of their curries on my last visit and had to ask for multiple glasses of water--- which the friendly service bought without batting an eye.
This restaurant is always busy, but the service is always great in spite of this. The prices are higher than most Thai restaurants, but worth it for the culinary experience.

Khao Sarn has grown to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is very nice and the quality of the food is great. Prices are definitely very reasonable and they have a full bar opposite the dining area.
This restaurant is perfect for romantic dinners or small groups (4 is perfect with their seating options).
Some of my favorite dishes there include the Pad Woon Sen and the Fresh Rolls. They have also been rated Best of Boston a few times.

While its service is OK (not bad, but not great), the food certainly makes up for it. Items such as Crispy Pad Tai or their mango-coconut sticky rice are something almost anyone can enjoy and truly a food delight! Spicy items are rated by levels of chili peppers, ranging from none-three.
Best part of all...everything is reasonable priced!
