I saw Dr Moss who was recommended to me by my previous dermatologist at Yale as a doctor in my area who could be trusted. I found him to be personable and kind. He saw me promptly and listened to all of my concerns. He then explained things clearly to me. The treatments he suggested worked within a few days. I highly recommend Dr Moss and his office; everyone was very professional.

I agree with the wait time problem. I LOVE Dr. Maiocco and Dr. Moss but I, too, am a professional, and my time is worth every bit as much as his. Should I charge him for the waiting time because "time is money?" Definitely go for the early morning or after lunch appointment.

Although I really like this dermatologist and find him to be professional and experienced in his field...the wait time is awful. You can usually get a quick apt, but you are told on the phone that the wait time is at least one hour (which I appreciate them telling you). You are expected to wait for an hour in the waiting room and then you are finally moved to an exam room and you have to wait there for another 30 minutes. He did have a 2nd dr at one time but I wasn't pleased with him and ended up waiting for Dr. Maiocco instead. Great Dr , but you'd better have lots of patience because he's seeing lots of patients !

I have been going to Dr. Maiocco for over 30 years and not once have I felt rushed out of the office. He is an excellent doctor with wonderful references. I have never had a problem getting an appointment fairly quickly but have always had to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour before I saw the doctor. First morning appointments or the appointment right after the office staff's lunch seem to be best if you can't wait that long, with the waiting time for those appointments 15 - 20 minutes. Office staff is always very professional and Dr. Maiocco's nurses are all very friendly. Parking does seem to be a problem at times with the parking lot full most times.
