Dr. Maiocco is a top notch physician who is very highly rated in Connecticut. He is often called in on rare issues at area hospitals, as I know he was called in when my Mom was in the hospital with some strange undiagnosed symptoms. I have seen this doctor several times in the past ten years, and he has always been caring and friendly, and has helped me with whatever issues I had experienced. The only downfall to this practice is that because he is so highly in demand, the wait time both to get an appointment and in the wait room is usually quite high.
PROS: highly rated doctor, friendly
CONS: hgih wait times

I have been going to Dr. Maiocco for over 30 years and not once have I felt rushed out of the office. He is an excellent doctor with wonderful references. I have never had a problem with getting an appointment fairly quickly but have always had to wait at least 45 minutes before I saw the doctor. First morning appointments or the appointment right after the office staff's lunch seem to be best if you can't wait that long with the waiting time to be in the average of 15-20 minutes. Office staff is always very professional and Dr. Maiocco's nurses are all very friendly. Parking does seem to be a problem at times with the parking lot full most times.
PROS: Experienced, caring physician
CONS: very long wait

I've used this dermatologist for several years and he's very professional, really knows what he's doing and is well liked by his patients. The nurses are also professional although he's got a huge staff and you'll always experience at LEAST a one hour wait (they do warn you about this when you phone in for the apt) and it takes many weeks before they can get you in (depending on the urgency though)
PROS: Extremely knowlegable and professional, accept most major insurance
CONS: A VERY long wait in both the waiting room and exam room each time
