Returned to red apple for breakfast with my wife and daughter .My wife and I ordered the prime rib special, with egss over medium and wheat toast. Everything on the plate was cold . It ruined our morning. My daughter ordered scrambled eggs well done with bacon and wheat toast and her entire platter was cold also. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere

Big Apple Dinner may be a bit out of the way but the food is worth the drive and the price is very low considering the quality and amount of food you receive. Some of my favorite things for dinner are the shrimp stuffed with a mild jalapeno cheese and the trout (broiled, baked, etc.). Lunch is usually a toss up between one of the various styles of delicious burgers, 100% beef here, or one of the salads. Be warned that the Cesar and chef salads are very large so only order if extremely hungry or you are a teenage "bottomless pit". Usual cost for a good dinner for two is less than $30 without dessert. We never have room for dessert, so stop by periodically just for those treats.
As someone has already noted, breakfast is good. Trout and eggs is a regular on their menu now and done very nicely.
Keep you eye open for alternatives as the parking lot fills up quickly and that means all the table are full. But if you can wait, it is certainly a great place for all. The kids will love the Shakes and Malts and a "Green River" is a nice change of pace.

This is a fun place to eat at. The interior is reminiscent of a 1950's diner, complete with checkered floors. There is plenty of room to maneuver in and the ambience is bright, pleasant, and clean. I like the checkout area where numerous 'trinkets' (located near/on countertop) can be purchased.
Menu is standard diner fare. Food is good quality, good portions. Prices are rather high.
