Cafe Provence is worth a day trip, if you aren't lucky enough to live here. Owned and staffed by a the former executive chef of the New England Culinary Institute, Robert Barral and his wife run Cafe Provence, with a kitchen staff composed of NECI chefs and interns. The atmosphere reflects the owners' native Provence region of France, a charming bistro. The menu is a foodie's delight , and there not only a wide range of foods, but wide range of prices, as well - something for everyone. Everything here is made to perfection - absolutely scrumptious. You won't be sorry for stopping here.

Books and coffee, what could be better, I ask you? This great store is located in HIstoric Downtown Brandon, in a lovely old building. A wide and beautiful staircase leads from the first floor of books to a second floor with more books, incredibly comfortable furniture, and a great coffee bar. The coffee bar features Fair Trade coffee, so you can enjoy without guilt, and the coffee is excellent. The book selection is incredible, and if they don't have it, the staff can get it for you pretty quick. The children's section is very well stocked, and also carries gifts, as well. There is a great train table and play area, but beware... your kids won't want to leave once they start playing with it!

One of my children has needed some assistance with Special Needs programs, and so I have spent a lot of time on the phone, and meeting with the folks at RNESU, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Everyone has been very helpful, caring, and seems to genuinely care about what they are doing, and how they can help my child. I have had many bad experiences with school systems, but my experiences here were great. This is one of the few places that when you call and leave a message, someone actually calls you back, and they are very prompt about that. If they say they need to find something out and then get back to you, they will actually call you back, and very soon. The special education team here was incredibly nice and helpful, and gave us some great resources.

Charming country setting with wonderful food. There are lovely little cottages here that you can stay in, as well. During the warm season, an old fashioned miniature golf course is open, with wooden, hand crafted golf course. The menu has a wide range of entrees, something for everyone. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff. Mother's Day buffet is not to be missed, and this is the perfect place to go for special occasions, but great for anytime, too. Just on the edge of town, but still only a few minutes from downtown, bed and breakfasts and shops.

This is a wonderful boutique with lots of different types of clothing in a very wide array of sizes. You can also find gowns and formal dresses here, for special occasions. Situated right in the midst of Historic downtown Brandon right near the Neshobe Falls park, it's a lovely location to do your shopping. From there you can easily walk to lunch at several restaurants and see art at the different galleries and shops, banking, grocery and drug stores and much more. No matter what type of clothing you are looking for, you are sure to find what you are looking for here, where there is something for Everybody.

If you are looking for a nice home town bank with that kind of atmosphere, this is it. First Brandon Bank is small enough to know its customers and make you familiar, but they have all the banking amenities that you would expect from a larger banking chain. Located in beautiful historic downtown Brandon, it is convenient to walk to the park and bandstand, the local shops and restaurants, or stroll over to the Neshobe Falls and watch the water roll by. You can easily walk to the grocery store, library and many other businesses from here, as well. Customer service at this bank seems to be a high priority, and everyone is courteous and kind.

Patricia's is also known as Sully's Place around here. When you stroll or drive through the downtown Historic District of Brandon on a warm evening, the decks outside are full of people and the smell of delicious food surrounds you. This is one of those places that you walk past and it looks like everyone is having a great time and you want to join in. Brandon is a small town, and so lots of folks inside know each other, and the atmosphere is very friendly, even if you're not a local. You're likely to find venison on the specials as well as other great entrees, and the food is as good as the atmosphere, which is family friendly. You can sit outside in nice weather and watch the downtown area, or sit inside. There are many places to walk to from here, if you're in the mood for a stroll, including two parks with waterfalls, right next door, and several art galleries, boutiques and other eateries. For a night on the town in Brandon, this is a great place to go!
