after finding out that i was pregnant not haveing any insurance my only choice was east manatee while the doctors have always been pretty nice to me my average trip lasts atleast 3 hours with an appointment at 1 i was lucky to be seen by 3 i cant just take half a day off work i have to take the whole day off

I was referred here after being in the Lakewood Ranch ER. I have insurance so I was not in need of free care. I felt as though the staff could care less amount my problem. Any time I asked the staff a question, I had to interupt their gossip sessions. When I called to schedule appointments, I was given a date three weeks out. When I expressed to the person on the phone the urgency of my issue, I was transferred to the Head Nurse. The Head Nurse told me I should go to the ER if I was in so much pain but that I was given the first available appointment. The one and only time I went to the GYNO, I was pleased with the doctor. However, if you can't get back to see him in a timely manner, what's the point. This center targets a certain market. If you are not in need of their services, seek help elsewhere.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had no insurance so I went here. I felt so out of the loop. I was a white girl just turned 21 and single. I had to pay full price for my visits while there were others with 10 other kids who were pregnant and getting all their care for free. I did not think that was fair at all. I was working a minimum wage job so it wasnt like I had a lot of money. I finally got insurance and left here. I had a friend who went here too and the doctor told her that even though she was having contractions the baby wasnt coming out. The baby died. DONT GO HERE.
