I was referred to this place by several friends when I wanted a second opinion on a thousand dollar surgical procedure for my dog. The doctors advised against the surgery and sent us on our way with vitamin supplements and rimadyl and I have a healthy, happy dog again. Shots and an annual examination are a fraction of the cost at other vets. And the love these doctors have for the animals is open and obvious. When we adopted a kitten a short time ago and needed to have him declawed, they performed the procedure for $75. All the other local vets quoted me $300 and up. Our kitty recovered fully in less than a week. Yes there are sometimes long waits. The place looks like a dump. The front desk staff is sometimes a little brusque. But it's well worth it for the peace of mind, the level of care and the affordable fees.

This is a great christian counseling group. They have very nicely decorated offices, which make you very comfortable. They also have a small play room for the young client to play in while they are talking. They are very caring people and always considerate of your feelings. They are very helpful when it is your child that needs the counseling, they definately include you in on what is going on with your kid.

Good for dogs only
This vet office is located inside of pet store. Their prices are good and the veterinarians there spend the time that is need with your pet to find out what is wrong. But not good for any other animals besides dogs and maybe cats. So if you have any other type pet I would suggest looking elsewhere. Which is really a shame as it would be nice if they catered to all pets.

I went to Manatee Memorial Hospital when i gave birth to my daughter. I was a scheduled c-section so i went there the day before to "enroll" myself for "boot camp". When i returned the next day at 5:00am all the same people were there for the previous day and remembered me! I was very surprised they were welcoming me like i worked there. It made me feel special.
I then went into my "yoga" room ( prepping room ) and i was then told about the surgery i would "ENJOY". The nurses then took me into the surgery area when i was then STABBED in the back! It didn't hurt too bad it just burned. Also in the room with me was about 4 other students for a local college called MCC( Manatee Community College). I didn't mind them being in there. I actually asked them questions the whole time. iT was great.
After about 15 min of "healing" i was moved into my room where i went into shock and needed my "Drug dealer" back before i died of pain. Once i was moved into my Single room....I was just OVERLY hungry like i hadn't eat in MONTHS!!!
I'm not joking every 6 min the nurses would come in a check on me and i would ask for 2 orange juices, 2 apple juices, 2 cranberry juices, and 2 whole milks. Then i began to rob them of all the Graham crackers they had on them. By the time they would come back with my demands of more grahams i would have their Hostages already guzzled up! I felt like i was just eating ALL their food... But i wasn't... The Nurses at Manatee memorial Hospital in Bradenton Florida ( off of SR 64 or Manatee Ave. ARE WONDERFUL!.
One thing i thought was amazing... i had my first son at the same hospital 7 years prior and ONE nurse remembered me. SHe even remembered my name! NOW THAT i do believe is a TRUE nurse. I did feel like a queen in her castle!

after finding out that i was pregnant not haveing any insurance my only choice was east manatee while the doctors have always been pretty nice to me my average trip lasts atleast 3 hours with an appointment at 1 i was lucky to be seen by 3 i cant just take half a day off work i have to take the whole day off

I have had cats my entire life and Dr. Nancy is the best vet I have ever been to. She has kindly given me discounts when my cat was sick and I was in financial straits. She also never prescribes unnecessary medications or treatments. One of my cats gets ill from rabies and distemper vaccines and she never pushes me to get them done. My cats are strictly indoors. One cat was diagnosed with diabetes and I thought I would have to put her down. I thought it would cost too much and cause too much suffering, but Dr. Nancy and her staff really came through for me and got my kitty healthy again without a huge expense. I can't say enough about her. Her staff is also very kind, compassionate and has gone out of their way to help me. They have recently remodeled and added new exam rooms.

I have been to many vet clinics all around bradenton. I have seen many bad vet clinics to which I will not go back and do not recommend to people. but Desoto animal clinic is a hit with me. I was referred there by a co-worker who spoke very highly of them. I was really happy with my visit. There was not a long wait at all in the waiting area and the vet tech was very friendly and attentive to my dog. The vet came right in and talked to me for quite a while about various things and answered all the questions I had without making me feel rushed or like I was taking up his time. I have been back since and have been equally impressed each time, they were not just trying to impress me with my first visit...they just have general professionalism and care for animals. I will be taking all my pets to them from now on.

I had to take one of my birds in to get it's nails clipped. The vet near my house was too busy, booked nearly a month in advance (even for just a stupid nail clipping). So I decided to try this one. There are not many vets in bradenton that deal with birds. I was very satisfied with my visit. I only had to wait a couple minutes to get into an exam room. The staff was very friendly with my bird and seemed very knowledgeable. The vet I had previously taken my bird to always made every nail bleed and acted as though it was just a fact of life and I needed to have it done more often. This vet came in and noticed the veins in the nails were long so he decided to use his dremel instead of clipping. I have never seen this done on a bird, I do it on my dogs but I didn't think it could be done on a bird. He handled my bird gently and was very careful with the dremel. He did not make any of the nails bleed and it was nice to not have sharp jagged nails to deal with later. I don't have any experience with this vet otherwise, but I thought they deserved a good word from the one experience I did have with them.

I love Walgreens. If you have one in your area i would go here,. I just used them to print out some photos from my digital camera from a wedding i just went to. You can order all sizes of prints from 4 1/2 x 5's to 8x10's. Very good quality pictures as well. You can do it ALL over the internet without leaving your home. Give them about an hour and WA-LA your pictures will be ready for pick up. Just encase,you can also order a picture CD for an extra $2.99. Their single prints here in Florida are $.19 per photo. You can't beat that!

I know that this chain is not all across America but I love it. There is one on the corner by my house. They have started putting coupons in their flyer for free items if you spend $25. That is a great thing. Sometimes the free items are not what I get but I will still get them and give them to church or people that use it. After all it is free! They have a great staff as I love all the people there. They have great cashiers and there is one that I will always go through his line as he is really nice and very helpful. He plays with the kids so they dont have to be bored in line. So great job there.
