I hate for my first review to be a bad one but I have to do it. I made an appointment for service a week in advance so they could get me in in one day. I left the car for, what Chrysler said would be a 45 minute(upper power steering hose)job, for a whole day. No one called. I had to call. Car would not be ready until the next day,around 10:30 AM. NOT. Call came at 2:30 PM. Not a good experience.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Bob Boast VW in bradenton and also utilized their service department on a few occassions. Every contact that I had with this dealership was really a pleasure. I felt the salesperson treated me as a valued customer and the price I paid for my vehicle was below other dealers in the area. The service department was also super helpful and even fixed my power window immediately when it was stuck in the down position with a rainstorm approaching.

After looking around at many dealerships for my new Volkswagen I found the best deal at Bob Boast. I found the sales person friendly but not pushy and the service department was always really helpful. The price I paid for my vehicle was also much lower then other dealers that i shopped at in the area. I would purchase another new car from this dealership in the future.

Bucket shop. Horrible customer service received from their service dept. They were rude. Did not want to spend time explaining the work they performed on my car. Did not have time to educate me about the issues with my car. Nor did they want to listen to me explain the problems that I was dropping my car off for. Service tech had my car for over a week & never fixed it. Had same exact problem I was having before I dropped the car off with them. Tried to receive assistance from the general manager of the dealership and was treated just as bad. These people do not work well with consumers. They do not care about their customers. Nor do they seem to employ trained service mechanics that know what they are doing. I ended up taking my car to another VW dealership for assistance. Pros: Only VWdealer in area Cons: Un-professional, Rush Service, Trained mechanics????

I bought a used car from this dealership and a day later some of the paint on the hood came off. I called and told them of this. They said that it was something I did. Which it was I washed my car, because they did not. So when I washed it the paint came off and I called my salesperson who said there was nothing he could do. Well I called his boss and all of a sudden there was something he could do. He got the hood repainted. It is now a year later and the paint job needs to be done again. So if you are shopping for a used car do not go here.
