If you are looking to adopt a pet then I definately would suggest the bishop animal shelter. The volunteers are super nice and really care about the animals plus this is a non kill shelter. I was lucky enough to get 2 kitties from there and found them to be great friends.

Family Christian bookstores has been in the area for a while, and has a good selection. If you're in the market for Christian books, whether it be lifestyle books, bibles, etc, the variety and overall inventory is quite excellent. The prices on their music however leave much to be desired, especially when the same music can be purchased via online retailer for a lower price. The staff are friendly and helpful however, which does make for a pleasant shopping experience. When you come down to the bottom line, if you want selection and service, this is a great place, but not if you're on a tight budget and want good prices.

I have been going to this church now for about 2 years. I love it. This church has been so helpful through my divorce. They provided a counselor for me and have gotten my daughter involved in many activities. It keeps her mind off of what is going on and keeps her focused in life. It is a great church and I love going there. My parents introduced me to it and I am glad they did.

This really isnt a business but it is where I usually hold my childrens parties. They have so many different playgrounds here. The one that I usually have my kids parties at is under some tall oak trees and has a huge playground with tables around it. They also have pavillions that you can rent. I just usally go and see if one is open before I pay to rent one. I can usually luck out and get one. Also it is a great place to have a picnic and just let the kids run around.

This is my cable company. They are awesome. I called the other day and asked a question because the way I pay my bills is I usually round up to the nearest dollar. I kept doing that but my bills the next month would still be bigger than the last month. Well I finally gave up and called them on it. I was surprised to find out that they wanted to help me out and she gave me a better deal. My bill had been in the $90 range and she got it down to in the $50 range. She offered me my online service at $14.95 a month and it is highspeed and then cable at $39.95. This deal is good for a year she said! So I called my mom and had her switch as well! Thanks for being so helpful!

For those of you in the Bradenton/ Sarasota Florida area you might want to try this place out. It's called the Bargain Barn. It's a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries. I recently came upon this store when my Mother In law got me into buying antiques and selling them at Flea Markets.
The Bargain Barn is a store that receives all the items that have not been able to sell at the Goodwill Store at their selected price. They then mark the price WAY down to make the final sale. Anything not sold for that day goes well, to the trash. Clothes for $.10, housewares for $.25, and items in a bag ( as much as you can stuff it) $1.00.
For those doing Antique hunting this is the place to go. I have spent maybe $6.00 at one time here and made a WONDERFUL turnaround. Even with E-bay. It'll amaze you what other people throw away.
It goes with eh saying... "Another Man's trash is another man's treasure".

I was very surprised at the fast pace this Post Office in Bradenton had. All i had to mail off was a small package and when i showed up there was a line out the door. My first reaction was "GREAT I'll be here for hours!" But oddly enough i wasn't. They had three cashiers open and they were all taking care of their customers each in a fast and orderly fashion. It was wonderful. Once up to my turn the man spoke to me about what was in the package and told me my friends would be happy to receive it. He then asked if i needed anything else. ( which i didn't ) Then I was on my way! He even wished that I have a wonderful day. I was in and out of there in about 15 min. Not bad for a postal office at lunch time.

I have Brighthouse networks. They offer everything! Cable, DVR, Roadrunner, Phone, Digital Cable. They pretty much offer it all. I right now am paying $55 a month for basic cable which is channels 3-99 and I also get my internet. Unlimited use and all that great stuff. I had called to complain about my bill because it seemed like it kept going up and up and the lady told me about a special they were running then and I took her up on it. I had my phone through the phone company but I cancelled it as I am never home anyways! But I am so glad she switched me as I save over $45 a month with the deal I am on now. It is great!
