We had been to Linger Lodge several times before with the old owners. When relatives came down from PA we thought it would be a treat for them. The Lodge was great as usual but the food was really bad. The fish and chips had one piece of fresh fish and the second piece as old freezer burned and fishie tasting. The Alegator was also old over cooked small pieces the size of pop corn shrimp. The cole slaw was old and rubbery. My coffee was from that morning and turned gray when I put cream in it. The new owners really screwed up a good thing and I will never go again. There are other special places we can go to.
