I'm a loyal ON shopper and love to find great bargains. I've found that locally, the Boynton Beach ON is the best for bargains! They have such great markdown prices, that you can't buy the same things at Target or Walmart this cheap! I would hate for anyone to invade on my bargains but I'm sure there are PLENTY to find there.

My sister and I went to the Boyton Mall just to walk around and check stuff out with nothing really particular in mind. When we passed by this kiosk all the glittery things caught our eyes and we HAD to stop! The woman that owns and runs the cart was really nice. She showed us how to use the different hair clips and was able to find us something that would hold our thick hair up. There kiosks at other malls that sell similar stuff, but my sis said that Miya's prices are lower (and she would know!).

The tour is only $3 per person. For that, you ride a tram that is narrated by a grove worker and stop halfway through at a clearing and get the chance to touch an alligator.
They have a gift shop with a wide variety of oranges for sale individually and by the case, a tasting area, and freshly baked pies--here you can find the only mango pie for sale. It's good!
Unfortunately, the operations at the Boynton location are suspended due to last years hurricanes, but they said they will still operate their shipping business at another location in the fall.

More
Faith Farm can be a zoo on Saturday morning, as it's when most of us are able to make it to this gigantic thrift warehouse. They have tons of merchandise that moves through the place each week, and in order to get the good stuff you have to arrive practically when they open in the morning. They have every kind of furniture, used appliances and electronics, clothes, toys, and kitchen items, just to start off. They also have a new furniture section but the deals are past that area in the back. They even sell mattresses!
The selection of clothes isn't usually that good, but Faith Farm excells in furniture and TV's. Both are at reasonable prices and they'll even deliver for a fee. While they are delivering you can give them some stuff to donate. They are a Christian charity so they are not open on Sundays. I have heard they restock on Wednesdays but I can imagine they probably restock constantly.

More
Things Remembered has a lot of nice gift ideas, but they’re primarily for weddings, births and Christenings, retirement, or graduation. Step into one of their stores and you’ll see what I mean. It’s not that they don’t have nice gift ideas, but everything in the store is (and in most cases, should) be engraved. We’re talking everything and anything from clocks, Champagne flutes, cuff links, money clips, jewelry boxes, wallets, and pens, just to name a few diverse products.
Oh, and engraving is not cheap. It’s a five dollar minimum and two dollar per word (or letter, if you’re monogramming) after that. But then again, I got a slightly different price quote from someone else at the same store on a different day. Yeesh.
And a word of caution: I’m not sure they do this all the time, but I signed up for their online newsletter and as a welcome they emailed me a $5 off coupon good off any (as in, no minimum) purchase. However, when I went to the store at the Boynton Beach Mall I was given a hard time because I printed the coupon in black and white -- I don’t have a colour printer. Apparently, people were coming in multiple times with the coupon photocopied. What got me upset was that I was given a hard time when the fine print on the coupon stated one coupon per visit -- not one coupon per customer. And no where did it state I had to purchase a minimum. (She told me I had to spend at least $10.) I’m not trying to beat the system, but if you want a happy repeat customer, then don’t harass me and tell me all these exclusions and requirements that are not pre-printed on the coupon.
To make matters worse, my friend had the same coupon and she was outright denied because they told her she already went in to use it. My theory on that is that we’re both Asian and apparently all Asians look alike. How disgusting.
I’m not going to tell you to stay away from Things Remembered, because they do have nice stuff for very specific occasions, plus this has been my experience in the two stores near me (yeah; I visited another location in my area, hoping to not have to deal with ignorant people, but at the other location they weren’t any better), but for those in my local area (Palm Beach County), just be warned. Although, unless you’re Asian, I’m sure you won’t have the same problem as I/we did. Ugh.

More
I visited the Marshalls store in Boynton Beach yesterday with my two small children. I went looking for a shirt to wear for a family picture coming up. As I picked out a few things to try on, I headed for the fitting room. When I arrived at the fitting room, I noticed a wheel chair emblem on the front of the fitting room attendants' counter. The emblem/sign stated something about "if you needed assistance, to let the store know". I was pushing my baby stroller and had my 2-year-old in tow also. The fitting room attendant gave me my number and I headed in to try my selections on. I tried to maneover my stroller in but there wasn't much room, between the counter and the attendant. When I said, "Excuse me" to the attendant she gave me a dirty look and I asked her how people in wheel chairs are supposed to get back here. Because there is no possible way someone wheel chair bound would be able to try anything on in those fitting rooms. She just laughed and didn't answer me. As anyone with a stroller knows, you have to go into the handicapped fitting room so I headed in there. The lights in the stall were completely burnt out. I had to try my clothes on, leave my kids in the dark and go look in another mirror. I ended up not buying anything in that store because I couldn't find anything that I HAD to have. I will be contacting the store manager because I don't think the fitting room or the attendant were what any store would want their customers to deal with. I've shopped there before and have had more pleasureable experiences but not the trip on April 5, 2006.
