The Scene
This petite Cape Cod-style house is engulfed in 130 acres of woodlands, gardens and meadows. Since you and your companion are its only guests, seclusion reigns supreme. The property features three beaches and numerous walking trails. It is a popular getaway for those seeking privacy and an escape from the madcap crowds. If you can't afford to buy your own retreat from the city, you can at least take advantage of one for a few days.
The Details
The cottage is designed to look like a shingle home from the 1940s. It is furnished with honey pine and whitewashed pieces. The living room includes a stone fireplace. Unwind in front of its cozy flames, or relax in the outdoor hot tub. The full-size kitchen makes dining in easy. There is a large collection of movies to go with the TV and VCR.
