I used this business to rent tuxes for my wedding and they came out looking really good. They seemed to be pretty reasonably priced and no one had any problems getting their tux. The only thing that I thought was strange was that they weren't open on Sunday so for the people from out of town who were leaving on Sunday, returning their tux was a hassle.
PROS: good prices, nice tuxes
CONS: not open sundays

If you've never owned an alpaca sweater, you don't know what you're missing. The alpaca is like a llama, from what I understand - a himalayan beast. The wool from it is exquisitely soft and warm. The sweaters here all all handmade and range from thick to very thick! Some with zippers and hoods, others that button up. I have 2 of them and when it's chilly or cold, out they come! They can take the place of a winter coat - they are that warm! The only drawback, besides the bulk of the sweater, is that due to the handmade nature and large weave of the wool, over time they do unravel a bit and need a little mending. However, you just take it down to the shop and the lady there will fix it for you while you wait.

More
For years I donated my overflow to ARES because they provided vouchers to women and children in the Safehouse for Battered Women and Children. I shopped there and felt I was helping the Safehouse and the "alcohol recovery effort" as their name (used to?) mean/s. The Safehouse would tell donors to donate there so I assumed I was helping.
A few years ago I got to know an employee of Ares and my eyes were opened. This impoverished single mom told me that the "owner" would raise prices if the employee was interested in an item- Then, all the prices started climbing and Safehouse women started being harassed by the staff for "taking too much" on their vouchers! The bag sales would be for "everything in the store" but higher end items would be hidden in the back for the sale and returned to the sales floor the next week. Filled punch cards initially were for $10 off- period- then became good for $10 of clothing only. Donations of toys were no longer accepted because they "didn't make money on them". Most recently, the entire store reeks of tobacco smoke since the current owner smokes in the sorting and pricing areas. Yuck.
This shop is a travesty- the owners earn their living on the donations of the community and the goodwill of the people who shop there. I'm all for people making a good life for themselves, but not under the guise of being a charitable organisation and reselling at high prices those goods that were given to them, free of charge. Please, take donations to the Deacon's Closet at St. Andrews Presbyterian or offer them on RecycleBoulderValley (formerly Freecycle), at least until you can do your research and find a real non-profit. (Savers is for profit too, btw.)
