This is by far my most favorite place for a quick meal, lunch or dinner. The food has always been outstanding, the service prompt, and the price is right. I recommend the Supparod, a mix of cashews, pineapple, your choice of protein, rice, raisins and onions. The only minus is the lack of spirits, but this never seems to lessen my hankering for a good Thai meal.
The digs are small, so if you have a big party this might not be the best place to hold that retirement party or rehearsal dinner. If you are looking for a low key date place or a casual evening away from the crowds on Pearl, then definitely pull up a chair.

We seem to order Thai from Khow Thai at least once or twice a month. It's the kind of place where the menu items are plentiful, but the food is so good that you are always tempted to order what you had last time. Note, I've always ordered take-out from Khow Thai, so I can't quite vouch for the eat-in experience. But for takeout, it's truly one of the best options in Boulder. I've had several dishes, including the Red Chicken Curry, Green Chicken Curry, and Pad Thai. All are Excellent. Enjoy!

Khow Thai Café has the right combination of hipness, affordability, and great food that just might work in a location that has previously been unsuccessful for other establishments. Despite the lack of visibility and parking, it is quickly gaining a huge word of mouth following. Try the red curry – with just the right amount of coconut, it’s incredible.

The decor & ambiance here will remind you of a fast food establishment. There are a few tables and many come here for the take-out. You are served a small bowl of tasty tofu soup as soon as you are seated. The menu features many Thai standards, nothing too adventurous. We started with the spring rolls with shrimp (they were okay), and the Chicken Satay (best with lots of peanut sauce). For our entrees we tried the Shrimp in Green Curry (pretty good) and the only duck option on the menu in red curry and basil (good, but a little too much pineapple). No alcohol is served here so you'll have to wash it down with water, soda, or juice. Good parking. This is more of a lunch spot than for dinner.
Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking
Cons: No Beer or Wine
