This is our "go to" restaurant. We drive from Broomfield for their fantastic pizza. Friday night special is Seafood Ernesto, a must if you love seafood pasta. You can choose either a red or white sauce. The weekends, you can expect a wait so you know it is good. Jay has opened a few other locations, but the service and food still remain great at this location.
Pros: Pizza and good service
Cons: Long wait on weekends

Everyone knows prom is suppose to be the time of your life, well Pasta Jay's made that happen. They usually don't do reservation but it was prom and gard week for CU, so they were accepting them. When we first called we had planned to do dinner at 6:30 but one of our friends had to work till 4, I called them back to see if we could change it to 7, they were more then willing to change it.
My boyfriend who at first wasn't able to make it, ended up being able to come :)!!! Making our party of 7 turn in to 8, when we got there I asked them if it was possible to add him, they said it was no problem. They did say the table might be a little tight because of the add on and it was the only one they had ready for us. And truthfully it wasn't to bad.
Since it was a busy weekend we expected dinner to take roughly two hours, it was only an hour. And for how busy it was the service was fast and nice, our waitress forgot our bread, but to make it up she gave us a free dessert, and we were already a little to full for bread.
I love this place and anyone who wants good, pasta or pizza Pasta Jay's is the place, but beware it is a hot spot in boulder and there will be a wait but its worth it!!!!!!!
Pros: Fast service and good food
Cons: Small building

Our family loves pizza and our favorite is the Pesto Pizza with sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and mozarella cheese. It's really delicious! It's a little pricey, ranging from about $12 to 16 for pizza, but it's worth every penny. We've always had a wonderful meal there.

Pasta Jays is the absolute best Italian food on the front range. We have always had perfect food and that alone is amazing considering how many time we have been to this great restaurant.

I must admit I am a pizza snob and am very partial ot the pizza of the Northeast. In the Portland, OR, metro area there is one pizza place that does justice to pizza the way I love it. On a recent business trip to Boulder, CO, my friend and I enjoyed a few happy hours on Peal Ave, then decided it was dinner time. We decided on Pasta Jay's. While we were waiting in line, I looked in the window and saw three elderly people sharing a pizza. One look at that pizza told me it was great. The crust was thin while the sauce and cheese were in good balance. We ordered a medium pizza with fresh basil and meatball. Wow! I felt I was in one of thost great finds in NYC or New Haven, CT. The pizza came out nice and crisp and was a pleasure to eat. I cannot wait to go back to Boulder. I must say it was the best pizza between Portland and the East Coast. I know, Chicago is between, but I have not been to Chicago in a long time. Uno's (the franchises) have come and mostly gone for good reason. But I do hope the original Uno's and Uno's Due are still wonderful.
Pros: Wonderful pizza what it is all about.
Cons: Service was a little slow, but the place was busy.
