I just got back from eating at "The Med" and the food was just amazing. One of the special entrées of the day was what I decided to order, Herb roasted chicken with sautéed shitake mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. It was AMAZING! And didn't put a hole in my pocket! The portions were huge and the "happy hour" appetizers and desserts were SO good!
Check it out if you like great food, but expect for it to be busy. It can get a bit crowded, so don't go if you want a more "cozy" atmosphere.

I love this place. It's got the down home favorites I grew up with and don't turn down suggestions. If you're hankering for paella though, don't get it here, its not good and they said it would be enough for two, but anyone who has been to/lived in Spain knows what paella is, and the Med. does not have it. but other than that everything is amazing and super yum and awesome and TRY THIS PLACE!
Pros: tapas, homey, drinks
Cons: can be busy, bad paella

This place is absolutely beautiful and in the summer you can sit outside on the patio which overlooks the Boulder Creek. They offer a variety of menu entrees like salads, Thai curry noodle dishes, desserts and of course a wide selection of tea. You have to go at least once to see the building which was a gift from Boulder's sister city of Dushanbe.

4580 is a great example of relaxed, European style family dining--kinda fancy yet friendly, kinda foodie yet familiar. The Hammer's are a fantastic family and everyone is committed to making you feel like you're in their living room. They have a great space for meetings and PLAY Boulder had their holiday dinner their and it rocked. I appreciate the pick and pair type menu so I'm not so locked in (I'm pretty picky). My only complaint is that it is a relaxed time and so getting in and out fast is a challenge. (The reviewer who had to wait so long should have spoken up sooner; their was obviously an unusual error).
Pros: Awesome burger, Foodie choices, Great atmosphere
Cons: Slow

We feast on Falafel King hummus at home via our friends at Whole Foods. Every now and then I need a taste of where it all started and I wander down Pearl Street. The 4x6 lunch is the best - four side salads, a green salad, and six falafel balls. The sides are normal greek / med faire - hummus (several different varieties), grape leaves, tabouli, and baba ganoush. The service is lightening fast (in and out in 60 seconds), the food is fresh, and the garlic lingers all afternoon.
