I have been a regular visitor to the Boulder Farmers Market for 4 years now, and I Love it! The market is definitely a "Must Do" . The veggie selection is amazing and you have to try the Allegro coffee at the BMOCA both in front of the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. I love getting some "Amazing Tamales" and sitting under a tree with my doggie. A Great Day!

I had heard so much about the Boulder County Farmer's Market (in front of the Teahouse on 13th) that I finally went down on Saturday morning. I must say, I was slightly disappointed. I grew up going to a farmer's market every weekend with my grandparents (who were vendors there). I love the smell of the fresh vegetables, and the ambiance of the market as the community comes out. In my hometown the farmers market is an event. Although there were some great things at the Boulder farmer's market (organic applesauce for one), I was expecting more out of it. To it's credit, I did go fairly late, so lots of vendors were closing down, but I was looking for fresh fruit, and was disappointed in the selection. They do have great flowers though! It's worth going to see what it's all about, but it doesn't quite measure up.

13th and Arapahoe/Canyon. boulder proper.
http://www.boulderfarmers.org/
Wednesdays from morning to noon, Saturdays from morning until 2pm.
Local farmers team up with small business food vendors to help drive the heart of what boulder is about. great place to go to remind yourself that you are human, and that you don't just do what you do 9-5 M-F, but you also live to eat and be social.
word up! thanks boulder - great times.
+ be sure to nab your coffee from "Joe's"
+ the "Sister's Pantry" dumplings are the best. you can get them frozen at Whole Foods, too.
+ saturdays are free admission to BMoCA - Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, right there at the market.
come on all you transients! check out the farmer's market! we're all in this together!
ooh - also, often free music/events during saturday.
