They charged my $200 to fix a simple window problem (manual window, not electric). Forgot to check it at the shop, but when I got home it was still broken. Went back to the shop and they said I must have broken it again on the way home. Total rip-off.

Independent Motors do a good job considering how busy they are all of the time, i swear there is half of boulder wanting to get all of their cars serviced at the same time. the staff is courteous and the facility was kept really clean. I have been bringing my car here for a couple years now and i find it to be a great experience every time i bring in my Toyota.

I have no idea where the previous review came from but i highly doubt its truthfulness. I am a longtime customer and i have always loved Bill and Joe. They are great at what they do so i always come back.

I brought my car down there 7 times in the last 2 months, I've had to bring my car back there every week sense I took it in. They tried to assure me my car was being taken care of after they scammed me out of 3,000 dollars, after I payed that outrageous sum of money, my engine light turned on while I was driving the car home. My car sat in their shop practically the whole time they had it, they misplaced the casing to the whole underneath of my car, and then finally, after the 7th time bringing it in and it sitting there for 2 weeks, they said they tore it apart and they don't know how to work on it. I had to bring my car down there 7 times, I had to pay 3,000 dollars (money that I slaved for, let me tell you), just for these guys to misplace 1,000 dollar covers for my car and tell me they don't know what they are doing. They took my car to a different shop and now they are trying to charge me $600 dollars for something that should have been covered and fixed months ago. They did a terrible job, I've been crying my eyes out because I've been so stressed on how I'm going to pay for these bills. I really can't say I have ever felt this wronged and stupid, ever. Please do not make the same mistake I did and take your car to independent motors. They need to be shut down for goo.

Since 1983, Bill and Holly Bender and Independent motors have been the exclusive source of maintainence of my 1983 Sentra that had 205,000 miles when I sold it and was running like a top. I'm still driving my 1993 Pathfinder which gets 20 MGP and it's odometer just turned 220,000 miles! I'm shooting for the big 300 K for this vehicle. Routine maintainence is cheaper than new car payments.
