I am black and have extremely coarse and ingrown facial hair. Lately i have experienced more ingrown hairs and dark areas from the scarring of the ingrown hairs. i read reviews about Aura and that's how i tried them out.. i have had 2 consultations at other clinics one at a vey plastic surgery spa and one at dermatology clinic. I came to the Aura medspa for my consultation i spoke to katy who everyone seems to know by first name and rely on her at the clinic for expertise and knowledge. I had a consultation and i thought immediately she knows SKIN..She was concise thorough and to the point. i was given a treatment plan and told how my skin would be cared for and what they would do at every step of the treatment plan. I was very impressed no pressure just facts and a real plan of care?? all backed up with knowledge and experience. I signed up for the buy 5 get three free on the laser pkg. i noticed a change in my skin immediately. it's been four days since my laser treatment and my face seriously feels less irrtiated! I am ecstatic kudos to Aura for their integrity and knowledge! thanks Katy i feel the change for the better that you referred to!:) Pros: Safety and Results Cons: None i can think of

I have very stubborn blonde hairs that have been growing on my chin for the last 3 years. I tweeze daily and hate it!!! I went in to Aura laser Skin Care in Bothell on my way home. I was greeted by very professional and informed medical staff. I had a consultation (free) and paid for package of laser hair removal for my chin. That was 2 weeks ago! i have less than five hairs left on my chin now after one time with the laser??!! Why didn;t i do this sooner!!! Completely worth the money and they beat everyone on prices. Very Professional, Immaculate Spa and Great Outcome!

I as many of us ladies have a need for a great stylist, and facialist! i went to Aura and had a facial by Katy and had my hair done by Lena one of the stylist at the establshment!!! hands down agree with all the reviews! Great Job Very Happy with mty results my hair feels and looks great i am a regular and won't have to go too far for fabulous hair and skin! I hated the veins on my legs (SPIDER) what a horrible way to describe them but it's really true they look like they are crawling like spider webs. I had some injections at a Dermatologist's office but man it was too painfull to bear! I don't mean the mammoth wooly kind..:o) I went searching on the web and found Aura Laser. I went in to talk about a new method of treating these horrible purple and red veins without needles. They reassured me it is far less pain than the injections. No needles and no support hose for weeks after... i felt like my grandma walking around!!. I had a single treatment with their laser leg vein becuz i wasn't sure if it would hurt like H---, I waas pleasantly surprised! completely tolerable and the laser is nothing compared to needles being injected into my flesh.,.. i loved it some of the veins just went away in front of my eyes!! Very Happy and will go back for pkg to get the discounted price!

My girlfriend told me i need to write this and give credit where it's due! Ok, so i am native american and have had horrific acne and scarring since my teenage years i am now in my late twenties. My girlfriend is the reason i even stopped in this place. She started having laser bikini hair treaments. I went in to talk to the gal about my skin too on her insistence. I wasn't prepared to drop down a whole bunch of cash since i had heard it all and done it all and lost all the money and left looking exactly the same at other places. The lady reassured me that i don't have to commit to a huge package of lasers and other treatments. I bought one treatment with the laser she told me would help my skin... I had results right away!! I went to my parents for dinner a week after just that ONE time and my Mom noticed my skin looked better. She asked me what i did to my face it was much less "Bumpy" I told her i had a laser treatment. She was so happy she offered to help me out with the payments if i decided to go and have more laser acne treamtnets. It must have worked she never offers to pay, i always have to ask!!...:o) I did buy the package (My own funds!) and now it's been 3 times for the laser and i am very HAPPY... i didn't realize i used to hold my head down all the time and my girlfriend told me i walk straighter now....haa haa.. i honestly think it's because i was so self conscious of the acne and pitts in my skin??!!! Anyway, Thanks Aura , i wanted you guys to recieve the "kudos" you deserve.. I feel very happy and satisfied about the price for my package. I am ecstatic and i am going to share! I went to Aura Laser Skin Care last week to find out prices and do a consultation about laser hair removal. i immediately was given a list of prices?? I have never seen another spa do that? they always wait until they get you in the "interrogation room!! "before they divulge what anything is going to cost!! This medspa is consistently about 1/2 the price of other places i have looked into. There are nurses and medical doctors on site who care and know about skin and skin problems... so no one has treatments unsuperivised.. I decided to start the package and i am noticing results from the laser bikini hair removal already.... the hair is hardly growing and very patchy but i was told.. this is how it starts to slow the hair from regrowing... I love it!! i wish i had started in the winter so i would be almost done now... it takes about 4 or 5 times of repeated treatments and it'll be less and less... I took advantage of the special they were running so i got an 80.00 dollar discount on top of the low prices... the place is very "Modern" and nice.. i really feel good.. i reccommend it. Let me start with out by saying that the customer service was wonderful and very professional. The receptionist explained everything to me in detail, and was very knowledgable. She had answered every question that I had, and made me feel very important. The salon was very clean. My treatment was amazing, and I started seeing results almost immediately!!! Their stylist Lina is an awesome stylist!! My hair turned out to be a lot better then I expected! It was exactly what I wanted and then some!! I will definately be going back to see her!! I am looking forward to going back to recieve more services!! They made me feel as though I was family! Loved it!! Thank you girls!!!! Pros: Parking, Customer Service, Knowledgable Cons: NONE!

First off, the staff and facility of Aura Laser Skin Care is what sets this medspa apart from any other. The staff are professional, knowledgeable but most of all, friendly. I felt, from the moment I walked in, that these folks really care about my needs. Their front desk receptionist Amelia was very knowledgeable and polite to say the least. She went out of her way to answer any and all of my questions. The spa is immaculate and beautiful, it's true relaxation at its best. As for cost, Aura?s prices are UNMATCHED, and I felt no pressure buying at all. Now for me, I was referred to Aura Laser Skin Care by my friend for their Acne care solutions. I was put on their Acne Gold treatment system, and immediately noticed the change in my skin. In just as little as a week, the majority of my acne, blemishes and bumps cleared up and the scars from previous blemishes had began to fade. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to write a review, however, I feel as though I owe it to other people looking for a skin care spa. I felt that the staff at Aura were very unprofessional. I waited for quite some time after my scheduled appointment while the staff at the desk chatted with each other about non related work issues. Although the prices were reasonable, the attention given to me was unsatisfactory in comparison to other spa experiences I have had. I will not be going back to Aura and feel that my money can best be spent elsewhere.

Let me start by saying my 5 stars is only based on 2 services. I plan on going back and seeing if the rest of the 'menu' is as good as the Botox & Eyelash Ext service. Kady is the manager and she is awesome. But more than that, she's honest! And when you are getting needles poked in your head...honesty is really all we care about, right? (She did a great job on the lashes, but they are just not for me...) Price: The price is right...no pun intended. I dont think they are the cheapest out there but again...when the needles with foreign liquid are being shot in to your head, I am not sure that "CHEAP" is the way to go. Same goes with super strength eyelash glue being teetered 1 millimeter from your eyeball! Service: I called for the eyelash appt first, basically got right in. I wanted to schedule Botox at the same time but was informed i would need a consultation first. (As inconvenient as this was for me, an experienced 'Botoxee', i do see the value in this for first timers). The Doc was taking appointments for Fri & Sat's...so I got in a week and a half later...When I got there for my appointment, I had my 4 year old son with me...unconventional, i know. But my old place shuffled me in and out in about 5 minutes so it was never a problem. At AURA, they actually took the time to prep my skin, talk to me, educate me (ie show me what they were going to do and how), etc...Kady was so good with him! They didn't even bat an eye. Now I am not recommending you take preschoolers to the spa with you, and my son won't be joining me the next time, but in this case, they sure did make life easy for us. Overall: It was a great experience and I will definitely be going back there for my botox refills. I will also try them out for any other 'cosmetic needs' as they arise.
