Speedy Glass

My other half called around to get her windshield replaced and this was the lowest price and now we know why. She set up the appointment through the 800 number and told them exactly what vehicle she had and the options and setup an appointment for Tuesday morning. I dropped her car off and killed an hour. When I go back to pick up the car they say that the one they got wont work because the mirror mount is wrong because she has the heated seat option. I asked how that mattered and then they said the factory mirror was different than the factory mirror. At this point I was done with the lies and wasted time. Not once did I get a "we screwed up and ordered the wrong glass" I just got excuses. So I asked them what they were doing and they said they were ordering the correct one and it would be in tomorrow (Wednesday). I asked them to call me to make sure it was truly correct. Wednesday I waited till well after they said it would be in and would have called me and I finally called them. I was assured it was the correct one and when I asked why I didn't get a call they acted like I didn't even ask that question. I asked when it was going to be installed ( the other half spoke with them to get it installed at her work) and they said it would be between 1 pm and 3pm at her work on Thursday and they would call her. At 3:47 pm the installer calls me (not her) asking for the address which she had given them and when I point out the install was between 1 pm and 3pm and it was after 3 the installer said he still had time at which I responded it was between 1 and 3. They installed the glass but at this point we do not have any faith in the product, support or the company at all. It was a bunch of lies and screw ups that they wanted to blame on anything else. The only thing they did correctly was take her money on Tuesday as she paid via phone. The customer service sucked, the woman running the place was rude and they never ever apologized. STAY AWAY! more

We had them come out recently to replace our windshield of our van. They told us they would be here between 1pm and 5pm and would give us a call 30 min before they came. At 4:30 we still hadn't heard from them (after sitting around waiting for them all afternoon) so we called. They said the tech got held up but would be there before 5. We didn't even get a call from the tech until 5:20 and then he didn't show up for another 15 min. It then took him an hour and a half to replace the windshield. To top it all off, everyone leaves the office at 5 so we couldn't even contact anyone after that. When we called them the next morning they seemed to care less about our time wasted waiting for them. What a waste of a whole afternoon and evening. Needless to say, we will not be returning and we would never recommend them to anyone we know. more

When my windshield had a crack, I got quotes from several auto glass replacement company. Speedy Glass was one of the cheapest one and a known company. I have a high-end car so I want an experienced company to replace my windshield and will be around in the future. At first, I was kind of reluctant from seeing the bad review about them not honoring the warranty which I also mentioned to their sales person. She assured me as long as the car is under my name, the warranty will be honored. Long story short, I replaced my windshield with them and I'm happy with the quality of work and windshield they provided. However, when my 3 months warranty almost up, a crack developed from the inside at the bottom of my windshield. I quickly bring it to their attention the next day, the CSR told me to bring it to the shop. I catch them just right before they close on Friday, the lady that work at the front desk was really polite and humorous. She quickly examined the crack and determined that the crack was developed from the inside. She give me an appointment the next monday and give me several slot to choose from. I come the next monday and they replaced my windshield in about 1 1/2 hour. I'm now a happy customer and would have no problem recommending speedy glass to any of my friends :) more

Do Not goto Speedy Glass!They will not honor your warranty!I sold my car to a friend after a new windsheild was installed,and it develpoed a crack from the inside seem out,2 weeks after they installed it.They would not warranty it due to an ownership change eventhough it was only 2 weeks. Bad business!!! more

I had a ding in my windshield. Yes, I know I should have had it fixed... it turned in to a crack. I called my insurance company and they recommended 3 or 4 places. The only place I had heard of was Speedy Auto Glass. They offer a mobile service where they will come to your home or work but it was a four-hour window rather than a specific appointment time. I ended up scheduling an appointment at the shop. They told me it would take 1.5 - 2 hours but in reality it only took an hour, for which I was grateful. They handled all of the insurance stuff for me which was nice. Yes, I got the "10 free Azteca dinners" but it is a buy-one-get-one-free type thing, oh well. Still a good experience. more
