i recently moved to the area and decided to take my prescriptions to bartell (i always like the one in queen anne) My dr. had prescribed an inhaler an an inhaler tube thing to administer it with, along with some allergy medicine. After waiting ~15 minutes for them to fill the prescription I went to the pick up counter and they didn't have the the inhaler tube with it. when i asked about it, the pharmacist said that normally people don't get it. He said he would have to get it if i wanted it. I said I did and waited at the counter. In the meantime a pharmacy tech came and told me to take a seat, that it would be awhile. I had to wait another 15 minutes - basically going to the end of the line again to get the tube. It is not my fault that they did not fill part of my prescription and I was clearly impatiently waiting. Nobody apologized or rushed my order. I called to talk to a pharmacy manager and she called me back, a week later.
Pros: chain
Cons: long waits, uncomplete prescription fills

I visited this clinic recently and was very disappointed in their service. I was told by the receptionist that I had to be in 30 minutes before to fill out new patient paper work, even though the paperwork did not take 30 minutes to fill out. So i spent plenty of time waiting in the waiting room. When it was my time with the doctor and I was finally seen it was probably 30 minutes after my appointment time and 1hr after i had gotten to the office itself. The doctor did not listen to me at all. I felt like she brushed all of my concerns off because I didn't have "some" symptoms and when Id talk about something else that was bothering me that wasn't necessarily the reason I was there she told me to just talk about this problem and not talk about that. why would you not talk about all your concerns? I really felt like it was a rush to get me out the door. I mean I really just went there to hear the age old saying "dont do that" and when I talked about symptoms of a problem I was having she replied with a list of things that she could tell by looking at my body that I didn't have therefore It was not possible. However, I had done my research on the problem before hand and I know...that you can have only a few symptoms and still have the problem.
I feel she was undereducated and would rather just be treating colds and flus. and maybe they should just stick to that because those people just want antibiotics not real bedside manner.
Pros: Nice office, clean rooms, paperless patient records
Cons: Slow service, don't listen to patient

Comfort Keepers provides assisted living services in your own home (including preparing meals, light housekeeping, and driving to/from appointments). They also will help with bathing and moving the patient. What I like most about them is that they are very flexible, so that if you needed a unique service (i.e. opening mail, playing a particular game with the inbound person, etc.) they will work with you to ensure that what you want is provided. I also like that they offer 24 hour care in the event you require that. They are pricey however, especially if you will require their services long term. Because you're still providing the person needing the care with the feeling of independence since he/she is still at home, the service is worth the money and I do recommend them. The seven employees I have interacted with there have all been very patient and kind with my great aunt; most importantly she has liked them all.

Word of advice to business owners, when you have an employee that promises customers one price but it turns out that it is not correct, I believe you should stick to that price as long as it is reasonable. I have been a long time customer of Inglewood Family Dentistry. So when I had to replace my night guard which was wearing thin they are who I called. The receptionist promised me that it would be covered by my insurance plan and I would not have to pay out of my pocket. When I received the bill I had noticed that they had charged a different price than the one they had told me. Well naturally I called to let them know that there had been a mistake and I was over charged. They ended up firing the receptionist because she was also telling other customers false information. Although I sympathized with their situation I expected them to stick by their original price. To make a long story short they did not take responsibility for their employee and I ended up having to pay money out of my own pocket. My anger did not come from having to pay the money (only a little) but it was about the principle of the matter that bothered me the most. During the conversations about this issue with his office, I was told that the dentist could not wave anymore fees. What I want to know is how do they determine which fees to wave? Well it obviously has nothing to do with customer loyalty. In addition of my long standing business, I also recommended them to my family which brought in new business. So I ended up paying for something was wasn't suppose to cost me anything but I did later find out that you can buy night guards at the drugstore for a lot cheaper then what I had to pay for mine.
