Read about the Sunday suppers that Preservation Kitchen has been doing on their website. I grew up in a house with 7 children, and most of the time, Sunday was the only night of the week we were all hom, dad wasn't working, and we had a big family dinner. We were never fortunate enogh to have a Sunday supper like we enjoyed Sunday night.
When we were seated we were handed dinner menus and given a quick rundown of the Sunday supper from our server. In our party of four, we opted for two Sunday suppers, the aforementioned prime rib and a seafood stew with scallops, clams, and halibut in a tomato coconut stock/broth/deliciousness.
I was glad we decided to eat with friends because there were some options on the dinner menu that sounded very interesting. Needless to say we did a lot of sharing. The salads were amazing, I had a caesar with an insanely rich homemade dressing.
The entrees, both Sunday supper and others were equally enjoyed, but everyone at the table agreed that the Prime Rib stood out. Unfortunately, they only run it once a week, and our server informed us that the Sunday supper menu changes. So who knows if we will ever be able to enjoy the amazing prime rib again, or if it was indeed the Last Supper.....only time will tell.
Nice Job, Preservation Kitchen. You stand out in all the right ways, we can't wait to see what you have in store for us next time!! Good food is hard to find, so imagine how happy we were to find exceptional food, reasonable prices, focus on staying local and seasonal. I just wish local meant that your restaurant was in Wallingford :)
Pros: Best prime rib I have ever had in my life
Cons: The owners put the restaurant in Bothell not where I live :)

Hobin and his entire crew are very customer focused. The food is always top-notch and the staff will make you feel like you are at home.
The sushi chefs are great at making that 'special' roll or serving up combinations that are off the menu.
Must try:
Bonito Tuna (when in season); Crunchy roll, Hana roll, and the Rainbow roll. Delish
Pros: top quality fish; imaginative, tasty rolls
Cons: small space - easily filled

I've been to Grazie's countless times, and have never been disappointed! Their Alfredo sauce is one of the best I?ve had. According to my parents, their coconut prawns are THE best. Parmesan risotto is to die for, it?s very rich and creamy! The risotto comes with certain menu items, but I?ve ordered it alone as a side dish. My favorite dish is ?Cassie?s pesto supremo,? it has artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and feta cheese? oh my mouth is watering! I saw someone comment on the flan, only it?s not called flan, it?s called creme caramel. I?m no creme caramel connoisseur, but it was yummy, just like everything else I?ve tried there. If you go during peak times, especially on weekends call ahead for a reservation!
Pros: Great food, wine selection, live jazz
Cons: Parking lot can fill up on a busy night

I have eaten at Sai Mai several times a month since it opened and it is the ONLY restaurant in Bothell that I frequent. The owners pride themselves on friendly, attentive and expeditious service. The food is fabulous. I have lived in and traveled to many different cities and eaten lots of Thai food in my life but nothing compares to Sai Mai. The dishes always contain the freshest of ingredients, prepared with great care and skill and are always delivered nice and hot. The usuals are on the menu.... pad thai and satay, for example.... but there are so many wonderful and healthy creative dishes like three plus one. And Mu makes the best cocktails! I am salivating just thinking about the cilantro mojito that he makes. You must go to Sai Mai. They are worth a trip to the East side if you don't live there and should be a regular haunt if, in fact, you do. I usually go to Belltown and Capitol Hill for good food but Sai Mai is the exception!
Pros: Delicious, fresh and healthy ingredients perfectly prepared
Cons: None

I love sushi! I have been coming here for a few months and I have found it has some of the best sushi around! I was going to Sushi Zen in Mill Creek but it seems there quality has been slipping. Wasabi Bay has very fresh food and the prices are very good. You get your money's worth. The only two things I would change would be the amount of sauce they put on some of the rolls like the Las Vegas roll. And the music is horrible. But other then that it is a great sushi place!
Pros: Fresh Sushi
Cons: Annoying music

Nothing about the location or exterior will prepare you for the quality of food served here. Leave your pre-conceptions at the door and open your mind to the possibility that food this good really can be found in a strip mall.
There isn't an ounce of pretentiousness to be found; the interior is both elegant and relaxed, the menu straightforward and devoid of flowery prose. Ingredients are of top quality and the preparation and presentation are both designed to let the food speak for itself.
Dishes are perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared, Halibut cooked just so, steaks tender and correctly done. Vegetables are seasonal and fresh, simply prepared to accompany the focus of the dish. Each course shows skill and confidence, no corners cut and no compromises made, this is a kitchen that could compete well in down-town Seattle with some much more well known names.
Wine list is modest, vegetarian options a little limited, younger diners will fit in just fine.
Pros: The food, the food, the food
Cons: Not the most romantic location, but did I mention how good the food is?

This place would be making a killing in a better location.
The service is attentive, not annoying, and the sushi chef in particular is funny. The rolls and sashimi are all good options. My daughter loves their dessert mochi ice cream balls and I love the tempura bananas.
The prices are comparable.
