I've taken 3 very different vehicles to these folks over a few years. Things which set them apart from the rest:
1) Thorough, pragmatic, yet speedy service. They've taken time to investigate concerns, called with specific questions, & explained processes without hesitation.
2) Practical, customer-centered approach. They understand how our vehicles impact our life, & provide transport for drop off/pick up.
3) Fully explained options, from what will work for now, to what really should be done.

The workers here seem professional and honest--when asked what I should repair first among the things that they said were wrong with my car, they said that if I were to fix one thing it would be the cheapest thing! That's pretty honest. The prices, however, were not outstanding. Just around average, at $25 for an oil change. They are professional and do their jobs, but they don't really go above and beyond that.

we needed a car part that they did not have in-stock or at a nearby store. They ordered it on Sunday and said it would be in probably on Tuesday, but maybe on Monday. He was friendly and took our number and asked us if we would like to be called when it was in. We certainly did since our car was out of commission without the part. Wednesday afternoon came around and we still hadn't gotten a call. When I called them they said they didn't see the part and ask who we'd talked to. Then, t hey found the part and read the "call when in" note right to me. I would think they would pay more attention to car parts people are waiting for since they probably need them right away --- and schucks auto could've gotten in it the next day for us. I'll go cross the street and go to Schucks next time.
Pros: exchanged a car part for another part (i'd gotten the wrong one) w/no problems
Cons: long lines to wait in both time i've been in
