i'd read up on this place before coming, mostly good reviews but a couple not-so-great. i'm glad we decided to try it anyway - had a great time. rented a private studio - glad we did it in advance b/c we were there on a sat. and it was packed. probably couldn't have gotten a studio otherwise. well worth it - were able to do that and hang out in stage for a bit. good selection of beer, so that made us happy. ended up staying until close to closing time - would definitely return. fun way to spend a night!
Pros: great karaoke, crowd
Cons: gets really crowded, need reservation

Ivy is a great Italian place that serves large quantities of food at a very reasonable price. The food and the service were phenomenal!! They have a great wine list for around $25/bottle. I was unsure about a couple of things on the menu and the wait staff was more than helpful in explaining everything. Great atmoshphere anytime of the day. Highly recommend!
Pros: Food, Service, Price

Went to Match last night. We sat at the bar and had a few mini-burgers and a couple of martinis. The lamb burger and lobster burger were fantastic, and the pop culture and the espresso martinis were also delicious. The service was great! Our bartender was delightful. We will be back.

My client call me to tell me that they had so much fun at Betty's this past saturday , they were visiting Boston with their friends and decided to take me up on my suggestion .
They love the food specially the ribs and some new additions to the menu that i will be sure to try when I get back , they also mentioned a dessert called "Slice of Heaven" ( my personal favorite!)and the Tinis made with Sake , to add to their great experience they did not stop talking about the music and the friendly staff .
Sincerely
yhh.
Pros: great tasting experience , amazing flavors !!
Cons: you can't see the restaurant sign !

No Name used to be better and more popular according to Boston tourist guide books. However, it still has its charms. It is right in the fish pier and they have the great dessert pies. Lobsters combo lunch/dinner is relatively cheap and their is a variety of fish (deep fried or broiled) to choose from. As the name suggests, nothing fancy, a "No Name" restaurant. This place is cash only.

Sonsie has lasted because it's consistently good and the service is up to par. The menu changes a few times a year but you can always ask about your favorites. They might still be able to make them for you. Have dessert only in the tables up at the front or settle in for a meal in the dimly lit restaurant area. When they open up the French doors in nice weather there is no better people watching on Newbury. I don't live in Boston anymore but you can be sure that I go back to Sonsie whenever I'm back in Beantown.

This bar/restaurant has so many deals, it's the cheapest place to eat in Boston. I had a group of six and we racked up a grand total of $21 on their half-off burger night (I think its on Sundays). They have a special of this type on every single day. Granted their service is kind of slow and its crowded but if you want cheap eats, this is the place. Located close to the TRader Joes in the Back Bay on Boyleston. Try it out!

I usually have a hard time finding a gret pair of jeans. I guess I have a difficult body. Enter In Jean Ius! Now I know where to go. The only draw back is that I rarely go to the North End, so I try to plan my weekend brunch dates there in order to get in a little shopping. It's worth the trip.
Pros: Amazing Selection
Cons: Off the Beaten Path

I stopped by Toscana last week for a wax and pedicure. The place is clean, tranquil and European-looking. I had an extremely through pedicure done by Christine. She also did a great job cleaning up my eyebrows. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.
