The Boston Duck Tour is great fun for out of towners but even if you live here you can enjoy it - especially good to bring visitors. It is the most fun way to see the city quickly especialy for those that cannot walk long distinces. They bring you all around the city and give great commentary and then drop you into the Charles. Kids can even get a chance to help steer the boat. Best of all, you can quack at the onlookers...and if you are lucky they will quack back!

We first came August of 2007 -recommended by one of my co-workers. My husband and I loved it! The food, especially the seafood, is fresh and mouth watering. We came to Plymouth this past weekend (8/14/09) and had to drive here for dinner. We could not pass it up! As usual the Zuppa di pesce for two with the wine was out of this world! We'll be back!
Pros: Best Seafood ever
Cons: Waiting on line - but worth it

I am shocked at negative reviews Leeba Salon has received. I am a loyal customer and have been getting my hair done on a regular basis at Leeba Salon for almost eight years. I have never left the salon unhappy.
#1) The owner, Saliba Shako, is by far the most accessible and talented hairdresser I have ever met. I was a walk-in many years ago and very unhappy with my hair cut and its color. I have very thick curly hair and at the time, my highlights were a mess. I didn't need to say a word to him, he gave me a haircut and corrected my color - and I have been going to him ever since. I actually moved to Worcester for a few years, and still drove to have him do my hair. Saliba can be found in the various locations and always makes himself available to me at a moment's notice.
#2) the other salon associates go through a strict training regiment with Saliba. I have witnessed it personally as he does my hair with them. He is very firm with his technique and I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that any of the associates are not up to par. I would have to problem having another associate work on my hair.
#3) the prices are to die for. Leeba Salon does great work at very affordable prices. They are good to the their customers and I never leave there feeling pressured to buy products or unhappy with how I look. It goes without saying that after so many years, I truly walk in to the salon and don't need to say a word. I always leave feeling beautiful.
I honestly don't think anyone should put any regard to the negative reviews. I am still shocked! I've always said that if Saliba moved his salons to another state...I would move along with them.
Pros: highly skilled staff and technique, clean and welcoming atmosphere
Cons: NONE

We had dinner reservations here which we were forced to miss because of car troubles....We did catch the show and after, while waiting for a tow we decided to have a cocktail at Teatro. We were laughing with the bartender about our adventure filled night and how we ended up splitting a burrito on the side of the road for dinner. She mustve gone to the owner/manager because he came out with a beautiful antipasti on the house. He also checked in several times and hoped we would come back to dine. The food/drink we did have was marvelous I can't say enough about the service going ABOVE & BEYOND. Thank you to the female bartender who worked 7/25 and the owner/manager. It really made a bad situation more pleasant and we look forward to coming back! I am also spreading the word as I think GREAT service does not get as much press as a bad experience.
Pros: The customer is EVERYTHING, Excellent Drinks
Cons: NONE

I first went here with my boyfriend last year and absolutely loved it. The tagliatelle bolognese is the best we have ever had and the parmesan arancini are to die for. I went back here for my moms birthday a few weeks ago and once again, the meal was fantastic. My father went as far as saying it's the best Italian restaurant he has ever been to. The owner is so kind too and always makes us feel welcome. Also, order the Stella homemade gnocchi. I have had so many gnocchi entrees in the past from some of the best Italian resraurants and Stella's certainly tops them all.
Pros: The food, valet, atmosphere, service
Cons: None

the Parish Cafe has a sandwich for everyone- its menu is designed by some of Boston's best chefs, each donating a signature sandwich recipe. From a portabella sandwich from Upstairs at the Pudding to a seared tuna from Ming Tsi at the Blue Ginger, there is something for everyone. You can find me firmly planted at the end of the bar with a business lunch 1-2 times per week because it has such a wide appeal. The staff is also a friendly, tight knit crew that gets your lunch out with a smile.

This is a very special place. The staff, including the owners, make you feel immediately at home and special. They go above and beyond to make us happy each time. The food is amazing, including the appetizers, although the deserts are not much to chose from. There is a room in the back if you are looking for a more quiet and intimate dinner although the front is equally quiet but bigger. The staff is courteous, thoughtful and professional. This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants in the North End, if not THE best. The parking can be a tricky as its a good 15 minute walk from the T and its difficult to find parking. Weve been forced to valet park in the cold winter rather than risking the long, long walk.

A quick walk from the Aquarium T station on the blue line and you arrive at a great, intimate restaraunt neatly called The Living Room. The idea of a sit down, get comfy kind of restaraunt is fabulous. Big couches surround coffee tables as you enter the dimly lit front room.
Our larger party was seated in the back which was completely empty on a Wednesday night. The food was fabulous (the mac and cheese is a must!) and the drinks really were great, but a little pricey at $10.50 for a small martini.
However, the service was horrific. This was a party of 15 and our waitress only stopped by twice. Once to get drink and dinner orders and once to drop of dinner and the drinks. There was no check up and certainly no refill of drinks. There was also a mix up in the bill and our waitress was again no where to be found.
Overall the atmosphere is what makes this place!
