Kingfish Hall is loud and bustling and a fun place to try out at least once. There are better places to have seafood and much better places to have fried chicken. The spinning booths are a lot of fun, but don't have too much to drink!

I like this place. They serve good food. As such, you have to kind of give them the benefit of the doubt. Its a small place, so cramped becomes cozy. The menu is a little limited or specialized as euphemisms go.
I had the crusted salmon, split 2 salads and the consumed the bread pudding...(what can I say, I was hungry). My companions ate the pork and Mahi. They really enjoyed the food...Then again they are from the burbs, so anything outside Vinny Ts is fine dining.
Kudos on the wine, bread and service as well...

This hotel is actually owned by the folks at Fidelity (they also own Boston Coach), it is a mega hotel that is on the harbor, so there are great views.
It is incredibly expensive, but the views are terrific and you can watch the ferries come in the morning.
I've spent many a day doing conferences there, so it feels a little big for me, but if you have to stay in Boston and are on an expense account go for it.

Hey, this place is great when you want to imbibe and treat yourself to a nice big slab of red meat. Its fancy without being ostentatious, and the waiters are overly willing to help you with selections on the menu be it the wine list or the specials. I usually go to the bar to hang out with friends and the bartenders seem to really know the regulars there which is a major plus. The drinks are nice- the house merlot is actually quite good and I am not even a huge merlot fan - unfortunately they got rid of the big fishbowl glasses. Brought my family here for a graduation dinner eons ago and my parents and boyfriend at the time raved about the food. It is steak and other fine food at its best. Would reccomend to travelers as it is right across from the Prudential.

I definetley recommend this ice cream parlor. They serve many differnt types of ice cream ranging from your typical vanilla and chocloate to more exotic flavors such as mango. The ice cream here is great as is the atmosphere and the "feel" of the location. The prices are not bad either. I definetley recommend it.

More
When you think of a classic French restaurant, this is the sort of establishment that comes to mind. Each meal easily costs $100/person, and that's not counting drinks! Add one bottle of decent wine, and you could easily be shelling out $125+/person. That would probably explain why everyone there seems to be on a date celebrating something major like their tenth wedding anniversary.
The food is really good but not incredible. The service, however, is impeccable. They're also suprisingly vegetarian friendly and will make any dish on the menu to order regardless of the meat content.
Most surprisingly, they were also tolerant and even welcoming towards my toddler nephew. I can't necessarily say the same about the snooty clientele, though.

They call it Mac and Cheese, but it's a gourmet's delight. Unbelievably rich - you have to take a nap after one serving. If you want some bread with your Mac and Cheese, have the grilled cheese sandwich. Same drill - absolutely incredible.
