It is expensive, but this is one of those times when that old saying, "You get what you pay for", is true. The jeans are phenomanal - great cuts, flattering fits, and all of the latest washes and styles from the hottest brands. The tee-shirts are adorable. The shoes are to die for. The accessories (which I know best, because they're the most affordable things in the store!) are great, and unique. The store features a number of big fashion labels, along with smaller up-and-coming designers and some of their own stuff. All in all, it's a great find!

The clothes here are tiny and mostly perfect, there's not a thing in there that isn't very fun to look at. Verrry pricey and they have an absolutely not no return policy that can be intimidating in my humble and somewhat indecisive opinion. Lots of teen girls looking determined to be hot.

If you follow women's fashion magazines and want to dress like what you see, run, don't walk, to Jasmine Sola. The Newbury Street store is a smaller version of their sprawling Harvard Square location but it has enough treats to be worthwhile. There are really no bargains here - you're paying for the label and to be up to the minute. Having said that, the colors are fun, the staff are full of snooty attitude, and the accessories are all sorts of delightful (even if you can buy similar stuff cheaper at H&M).

Why? Because there's no order to their clothing! Everything's mixed up, so if you like something, and pull it out to check the tag, it'll be $150, but pull out the shirt next to it and it's only $20. I hate going here because they carry such cute things, but I always leave mad that I can't afford the things I actually want. Very tricky how they shuffle the cheap stuff in with the expensive stuff. Jasmine Sola is convieniently located in several area hot spots and fashion meccas such as the shops at the Prudential Center and on Newbury Street. Here they specialize in women's clothing with an emphasis on the latest 20-something trends. The brands here are not cheap, but they include hip LA labels like Juicy Couture, Seven, and True Religion. Bags and accessories can be found at these locations as well. Sales people are always courteous, but so many trends in one place can lead to a bit of trend overload- be forewarned :)

Jasmine Sola started in Boston and it is one of the hottest chain stores now, expanding along the East Coast everyday. Jasmine Sola carries clothing from American to Italian designers. You can find all sorts of young looking and hip clothing from T shirts to dresses. Tons of women's shoes to choose from and a pretty large selection of accessories (bags, hair accessories, jewelry, etc.). In most cases, you will even find a store with clothes and a separate store with shoes! A lady must visit!

Jasmine Sola has come a long way, having opened several new locations throughout Massachusetts and New England. One of their first stores, the Newbury St. location, has a great selection of name brand women's clothes, many of which are offered a few blocks away at the Neiman Marcus Department Store in Copley Place. The store is kept tidy and well organized. The biggest disappointment about this store is that it uses only about 1/20th of its space to offer men's clothing. The other stores don't even carry any men's apparel. Sola Men closed due to lagging sales, and the variety of brands that is offered to the men pales in comparison to that of the ladies. It's tough for a guy to be occupied for more than a few minutes while women peruse the racks for the latest fashion.
