I hadn't used any kind of tour/travel service until our first visit to Prague, and it was well worth it to have a little guidance in getting to and from the Czech Republic. Overall the trip was a great experience at a reasonable price--the package price was definitely better than I could have managed on my own. However, I did better arranging our transfers to/from the airport myself on line than I would have using Kev's Travel. There are lots of shuttle and transfer options listed on the Web. Basically Kev's Travel's city tours are a "get you there and put you up" deal, as another reviewer has already noted. But that was all we needed. Guided walking tours of Prague are inexpensive, informal, and easy to find, as are day trips by bus to the surrounding area (typical Czech village and Terezenstadt concentration camp). Our hotel, the Best Western, a converted historic building at the edge of a park just across the Charles Bridge, was a pleasant 10-minute walk to the historic city center. Room was very small, but bathroom was new and spotless. The included buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The best thing I did was buy lunch cruise tickets on line before leaving home--the 2-hour lunch cruise up and down the Vlatava River was a highlight of our visit and provided a new view of Prague's famous skyline.
