For a $25 tax deductible donation, you can join the Wang Center Club. You'll get discounts on most shows (after about 4 tickets you'll have earned back your $25) and preferred seating (they reserve the best seats for club members). You'll get to buy tix ahead of everyone else, and you'll get notification in the mail of upcoming events and ticket sales. Club members also get a small discount at some local business (like 10% off at Finale -- you can even use it when not going to a show). The theater itself is a lovely old theater, and it is well designed for viewing and acoustics.

The Wang Center for Performing Arts is a great place to go for broadway shows making their local runs or comedy performances like George Carlin and Jerry Seinfeld. The theatre is very nice and feels smaller than it actually is causing a more intimate viewing experience. The Boston ballet has it's regular seasonal performances at this venue and it's recently updated interior is a nice place to see such a show.

If you like Broadway shows, this is a good venue. As the name for the Wang Center implies, it's a center for the performing arts, and so it's not just for broadway shows. They also have ballets and other dances. One word of caution is to pay more money to get better seats. If you're sitting on the balcony, you might as well bring along some binoculars.

The Wang Center for the Performing Arts is what a theater should be. You walk in and are surrounded by gorgeous marble. The architecture is classic. It reminds of a time when people would dress for the theater. The seats are covered classically in red velvet and the ceiling and chandeliers are ornate and taking it all in makes the time spent waiting for the rich velvet curtain to go up pass rapidly.

Great place to enjoy the theater. The place is fairly small but the quality of the theater is excellent. The location is easily accessible due to its location in Downtown Boston. You can also take the Silver Line or the Green Line to Boylston. I suggest this place because many types of performances come to this location. Just check the place out!
