I love this store, from the clothes and furniture they have on the inside to the design and look of it on the outside. I love coming here to browse and look through their vintagey-styled items. If I had the money, my entire wardrobe would consist of only clothes from anthropologie, but alas, their prices aren't for the poor! (my only complaint:)

They sell a wide array of authentic ethiopian spices ( bebere, mitmita, Korerima, besobila, etc) and everything you need to make an ethiopian dish at home. They also have fresh injera and ambasha. The thing I like most about the store is that you always find what you are looking for.

Who'd have thunk you could find Seven for all Mankind jeans in the middle of Boston for under $15! I have found many great deals on designer name brands in this well-laid-out store over the years.
I love TJ Maxx! If you visit make sure to dig through the accessories section for great steals on some serious designers--- Biasia, Charles David, and Hype have all been spotted on a recent shopping trip :)

This Marshall's is two floors and there is actually room to move - a novelty if you're used to the one downtown. The shoe selection is especially good, the petite selection suffers (as usual), there are some good coats and dresses and the men's department is pretty good. But really, the shoes are the best thing here. Sizes and styles in a better variety than downtown, and excellent brands.

Broad Street Variety is a great little shop near State Street in Boston. It’s just a little mom & pop type store, with a small, but useful amount of products. They have a great selection of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Coffee, as well as sodas, chips, and other snacks.
The reason I choose to go here, rather than one of the larger stores around, is that the owners and staff are just fantastic. They are very friendly, and always welcoming. The prices at the shop are better than average for the area (Pepsi, for example is currently 2 for $1).
If you are near State Street it may be worth the extra block for you to walk to this great little shop.

Olympia is located inside the Prudential Center Mall. The mall is big and it's not that packed. It's not packed like most malls because this is a non-ghetto mall. People shopping at this mall are mostly whites and rich. There is so many fancy stores in this mall. The staff is diverse and pleasant. They have sports goods, accessories, sneakers, shirts, sweaters and more. They carry many different brands. I got myself some sneakers here some black airforce. I tried them at the store first. The wait was not long I guess because air forces are a must have item for many people like me. I just love my black airforce they are classic. I added to my sneaker purchase a black Boston red sox hat that I love. It's my favorite hat. They also have socks and sneakers and boots cleaners. They have coupon that you can get in your mail. You have to be on their mailing list so you will have to ask. Truereview here to tell you the truth.

Don't be fooled by the "Plus" in this stores name there is nothing that sets this store apart from the others. It is your typical dollar store, cheap and convinient. This place may have a bit larger selection but it is not significant enough for you to go out of your way to shop here when there is another dollar shop right down the street.

Saks is familiar to many of you but to those who are not aware it is a upscale store that occasionally has great sales both through their regular store and through their outlet stores. I recently found a Searle coat that cost 1500 dollars for 400 during a Saks sale. Customer service is not as good as at Barney's and the store tends to have a more carnivalesque atmosphere-espically on the weekends but Saks can still be a worthwhile store to browse through. Saks is like other department stores and sells clothing,accessories and shoes for men/women

This place is the cheapest convenience store you will find. Everything here costs 99 cents as you can imagine from the name and they have a pretty good election of products although I just come here to buy food cheap and fast when I am in the area. There are many dollar stores in the area and this is no different from the others but the concept is good so just go the closest one.
