Went here last week. We were staying in Copley at the Fairmount and went over to the Prudential Center location (because it is closer) and the wait was extremely long so we hopped in a cab and were seated almost immediately. Food was excellent, Clam Chowder was very good. Service was great we had a very nice evening. The Banana Foster dessert was especially delicious. We went during the week so that may have been why it wasn't so busy either way I recommend making reservations.
Pros: Food was Excellent, Servers were nice

Okay so here's the deal-- judging from the other reviews written here you'll either love NYP or detest it. I think the category you fall under is dependent on how you like your pizza. NYP is for people who love greasy pizza, and I am one of these people. While I'm away from college I actually have cravings. Here's a typical slice:
The larger than the paper plate they serve it on
Thin pizza that's sloppy-the trick to eating it is to fold it over or tear it in half
Crust is also thin, light and fluffy. Like fresh baked bread, but not too doughy.
The pizza is often dripping with grease. It's not healthy food, it's comfort food.
Pepperoni slices are $3 each, cheese is $2. I like the classics better than any of their special kinds of za. They had Hawaiian, but it didn't have sauce, which was kind of gross. 've had a few other things from NYP-their pasta is pretty bleh, and their gyros are okay. My five stars is for the regular cheap slices.
Service: The food is always hot, and on busy crazy weekend nights the guys at the front desk might seem kind of impersonal because they have such a tremendous amount of people to deal with. But they're really nice guys, they'll talk to you if it's not super busy.
Atmosphere: Since they've renovated, the place feels a lot cleaner. There are usually a couple of big guys hanging around the door on weekends to keep the homeless out-it's the 7-11 across the street where they sort of cluster and mooch for cash now. In the daytime it's quieter, but it can be insane noisy at nights, and yes, the drunken do flock here. But as someone who doesn't party at all, the taste of the za for the cheap price is worth forging through a sea of inebriates to get.
Bottom line: If you like messy pizza, you stay up late and you're low on cash, DO NOT MISS OUT.
Pros: Best za, late hours, cheap price, ginormous slices.
Cons: Super busy weekend nights.

I've eaten here dozens of times over the past two years and have never witnessed any insect sightings. What I have seen (and eaten) is food that is made from very fresh ingredients, expertly prepared, Hong Kong style. Their soft shell crab, pea pod stems in garlic, crispy stuffed tofu are all highlights. And it's the only Chinese restaurant where I'll order fried rice or sweet and sour pork (light crispy battered, juicy not overcooked, with an authentic sauce and mixed veggies) without regrets. It's the best Chinese food I've had outside of New York, and better than anything in Boston Chinatown. Boston's Board of Health is among the strictest around, and if the r o a c h reports from last year are true, they'd be shut down by now. I'm going back.
Pros: Great food, authentically and expertly prepared (whether it's true Hong Kong or American-style)
Cons: Interior is standard Chinese-American tacky.

The food is good, we had a fish sandwich and a crabcake sandwich. The prices are a little high, but that is because it is in Fanieul Hall. The bartender was very personable and friendly. Definately a good luch spot.
Pros: Location

You don't have to pay a lot to get a lot and that is how it goes at Peach Farm. It offers very authentic Chinese food that pleases the palate despite the hole in the wall feel to it. Take a look around while you dine and you can see many Chinese people coming to this place despite it being a weekday proves that 1-its a good deal 2- the food there is good too!
Pros: Great food, relatively inexpensiv, authenticity

Venezia is an excellent choice, whether coming by boat (yes, you can come by boat and dock for a wonderful evening) or by car. They have great views, a nice ambiance both in the bar and table-side and excellent food! The Scallops and Shrimp Fra Diavlo is out of this world, along with the Lobster Bruschetta. (Sometimes these are a special order...you may not always see them on the menu, but ask.) I have had quite a few wonderful evenings here. Their banquet facility, which is separate, is absolutely gorgeous too. Very spacious and a nice layout. They put on a good wedding! Well done!

Conveniently located on the East Boston - Winthrop line, this is a great take out place. You can buy fresh fish or have it cooked to perfection and then take it away. Daily specials are advertised out front. Friday & Saturday it's best to call your order in and then pick it up - avoids a long wait. Highly recommend.

So, when we moved to this neighborhood, I thought this little place looked kind of dilapidated. I never imagined this was the very place a friend had once mentioned as being the best Chinese food in Chinatown. He wasn?t lying, though. We got takeout from there ? fantastic. The Peking ravioli are perfect and addictive, and the spicy calamari was just right. Don?t be fooled by the outside, the small dining area is clean, albeit austere. I see much more King Fung Garden in my future.
Pros: good service, good value, authentic Chinese food
Cons: tiny dining area
