LOVE IT! Soo much fun, I could spend hours in there trying on every imaginable shade of every imaginable kind of make-up. Perfume, body care, whatever beauty product you could possibly want, the high end version of it anyway. Not for the faint of pocketbook! I wish they had a bargain version of Sephora. Great for a treat and those with money to burn though!

Sephora is basically a giant candy store, but with makeup instead of candy. Under the harsh, glaring lights you can play with testers of just about every major department store out there. Fragrances are on the walls (as is Clinique), hair and bath things are at the back to the right, and makeup is just everywhere. Equal opportunity whether you’re into Urban Decay (terrific selection) or Dior; also new and fun brands you’ve seen in Lucky Magazine, like Paul & Joe, Lola, and Tarte. Totally overwhelming on the weekend – try and come after work early in week, or on a weekday. Tissues, mirrors , cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol located on various end caps; for the love of all that’s hygienic, use them. Absolutely wipe off that lipstick before you try it, and never ever try a mascara, even if there’s a tester.

I love Sephora! It is a huge makeup/beauty supplies store located in the Shops at the Prudential. As far as Sephora's go (and I've been to many including Europe)-- this one is huge! There is even a NV Perricone cosmesutical consulation area. The layout and black/white and pink color scheme make for very pleasant shopping. At Sephora, you never are hasseled by a makeup-counter-lady, but if you need help the salespeople are more than courteous. My personal favorite--- you can find ANYTHING in ANY color!!! All in one place!
