The Garden of Eden is an excellent casual bistro located convieniently in the South End. They simply have wonderful food. My favorite is the mac and cheese- which is made with a mixture of gourmet cheeses and excellent breaded topping. It is the perfect cold weather pick-me-up. The staff here is very friendly and it is impeccably clean.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the South End. The sandwiches are not only delicious, but so unique. My favorite is the Union Park and it's raisin, nut bread. Portions are a little small, though, so if you come with an appetitie, you might want to choose a hearty sandwich and an appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice little place on Tremont Street. Great sandwiches, salads, and desserts. They have some seating outside in the summer. It used to have a great bakery and take out counter, but that is now moved next door (and it is still delicious.) Friendly atmosphere and family style seating inside.
