Jose McIntyre's is one of the worst pick-up bars in the Faneuil Hall area. Most of the crowd here is underrage and immature. Not once have I gone without hearing lame pick-up lines from years ago. The girls that frequent this bar dress like whores. The men are boorish. The drinks are less expensive here than some of the other area bars, but they are not worth the price you pay in class. If you have an ounce of self-respect do not go to Jose McIntyre's.

…mainly because I work very nearby! But I love Jose McIntyre's. The beer selection is a bit basic, but fairly inexpensive. The menu is pretty good, and what other place serves burritos and Guinness? One wouldn't think it works, but it does. They are really nice about holding the cheese on things (I don’t eat cheese) and seem pretty willing to help vegetarians find something to eat! The staff is pretty friendly, and the decor, while not fantastic, is pleasant. It is really nice to relax after work with a beer in front of the open windows in a big comfy chair. It’s a cozy, neighborhood-feeling bar, right near the waterfront. It’s just a nice place for a good beer and some dinner.
