This place is great for high quality Italian food. The service is fast and quick and all the people are really friendly. Not to mention the food.....delecioso. They have great pasta and I recommens the penne a alfredo. Its really good. The place is always packed so make sure you make reservations and this place is great for all special occasions. A bit pricey too.

Carmen in the North End is a great Italian eatery. It is so tiny inside that you will feel priveledged even to be seated at one of the restaurant's small and cramped tables. Some are super comfortable with one side being a couch with tons of throw pillows. The staff- especially the hostess, can be a little snooty in the busier hours. If you're late for your reservation, expect tons of atitude.
The food here is excellent, but the menu is limited in variety so picky eaters beware. It is also a bit pricey, but pretty much par for the course given its central Boston location.

This restaurant is VERY small so reservations are a must. They do not serve dessert and coffee to limit the "lingering" time. The food is excellent! The service is great and very down-to earth. I was able to ask for a recommendation for a cheaper bottle of red wine with out feeling cheap.
