This is the most absolutely fantastic restaurant around. It is the best in Boston without a doubt. Forget the North End - you need to go across the street from the Park Plaza and take in the amazing minimalistic ambience, good looking people and amazing food. Dont forget to order the panna cotta for desert - save some room as you definitely wont ever regret it...Just work out a little longer the following day :) Go to Via Matta now- I dont even work for them :)

Excellent Lunch Spot

Via Matta is convieniently located in the Park Plaza in downtown Boston. Seating options for lunch are excellent especially in the summer- they have a great outdoor patio area as well as a swanky interior dining room.
The Italian menu changes everyday and has excellent choices with the freshest ingredients. The price is a little much, especially for dinner, but is pretty reasonable if you go during the lunch time rush.
