This little hole in the wall has incredible sushi. It's reasonably priced, especially for being in downtown Boston, and is absolutely delicious.

Maybe I was just being unlucky - a while ago we went there for their sushi combo, two times. The fish was NOT fresh in both cases. More

This is a tiny hole in the wall that often goes unnoticed by casual lookers. It almost disappears in between its neighbors on Newbury Street and can hardly be considered a swanky establishment like other restaurants on that street. However, you'll be happy to know that it's possibly the best value around. Pieces of sushi are around $1 apiece and is surprisingly good. They're pretty fast, and you won't pay through the nose.
The one major downside is that the place is tiny. Waiting for a seat is extremely common, and you won't be seated at your own table. However, if you're really pressed for time, then you can just order takeout.

Tiny restaurant, often has lines, but worth it in terms of money. The sushi's the cheapest I've seen in Boston, and it's not bad. They're fast, too, since they want to get you in and out.

This is conveniently located right at Copley. It's a fast food sushi restaurant. They are very fast and efficient. Prices are affordable. They have the best spicy california rolls. I don't think a lot of restaurants make them spicy either. It's always packed. So, normally you will have to have it take out.

Finally one real sushi restaurant opened by Japanese people with Japanese sushi chefs! The fastest sushi chefs I've seen. Not the largest selection of sushis but fish is pretty fresh and you can't beat the price! 32 pieces for only $25! And if you are doing catering 140 pieces for $100! In less than 10 minutes, you will get your 32 pieces all done! Conveniently located on Newbury Street, one of the most visited shopping street in Boston. They mainly focus on take out as their place is very tiny in the basement. They only serve sushi! They do not have a kitchen to make hot food.
