Perfect family outing There is so much to do here - I never get bored. All exhibits are hands-on and interactive for the children but are definately entertaining for the parents as well. Lots of great shows and special exhibits. It can be a bit expensive to get inside the doors but libraries typically have free passes you can borrow.

At 2500 sq. ft, the Children's museum is not that large. However, each sq. ft is packed with hangs-on activities. My favorite activity was the Japanese house, which illustrated Japanese customs. An interesting part of the museum is definitely the recycle center where you can purchase stuff that was made from recycled materials. There is a pretty big museum shop in the Children's museum too.

Whether you're young or young at heart you'll have a blast here. With large things for kids to climb on and explore they can get a hand’s on view of how things work. From technology of today to the binary code they can really start to understand how tings evolved. It’s refreshing to have a place where there isn’t a single “do not touch” sign, and many please touch and please climb sign.
