There's nothing like deep dish chicago style pizza and Uno's is the original transplanted from the Midwest. I can remember when there was Gino's East here too, another Chicago creation that became a franchise and found its way here to Bean town but that was in years passed and is now but a memory. Back to Uno's, the reason I prefer Uno's to Pizzeria Regina besides the generous heapings of cheese and other toppings is the crust. Uno's pizzas come with a buttercrust as do most pan pizza chains in the Windy city. There's something to that added slight butter taste in a thick crust that's got substance without the dead weight. I have yet to ever have an Uno's pizza that did not have the crust done to perfection, plus the pizza. Always a favorite.
